Feels so nice to be talking about playoffs instead of just worrying about what happens in the draft/offseason and whether or not to blow the whole roster up and start over again.
Hard to believe this is our first game vs Denver. We still play them three more times after this go-around. March 25, April 11, April 26.
At least both teams are travelling to Denver tonight. Of course, Denver will have the edge, with them being used to the altitude. As long as the Wolves can hang with them early and not have to kill themselves coming back from a 20-point deficit, I like their chances late in the game.
Is Gallinari still out?

Here's a few photos Ricky tweeted from the flight to Denver:

Brad Miller must feel 10 years younger being here and really seems to enjoy being on this team. He should become an assistant here.

I have the feeling that the top West teams want us to lose. Facing these Wolves in the PO would be really, really, really dangerous...

I'm guessing Dallas and San Antonio do at least.

Facing Love and Pek would be a little scary in the playoffs. I think we could handle the Spurs and Clippers for sure.

I am super excited about this game. I have been really looking forward to playing the Nuggets and Blazers (especially the Nuggets). They are young, exciting and successful, and our playoff hopes ride on how well we play the Nuggs/Blazers/Jazz.

I love this idea. He should seize McHale's off-season cabin.

The Nuggets (17-15) have won 16 of the last 17 meetings with the Timberwolves, but they return to Denver with 10 losses in their last 13 games overall.m They finished an 0-3 trip Sunday with a 124-118 overtime loss to Western Conference-leading Oklahoma City.
If Nuggets forward Nene (calf) is sidelined for a fifth consecutive game, Timberwolves center Nikola Pekovic could have an easier time setting a franchise record by grabbing five or more offensive rebounds in a sixth consecutive game. He tied Love's mark with five against the 76ers.
Timberwolves rookie Ricky Rubio and Denver's Ty Lawson will face each other for the first time since Minnesota selected both point guards - in addition to Syracuse point guard Jonny Flynn - in the first round of the 2009 draft.
What scares me about this nuggets team is that any player is capable of dropping 20 in a hurry, so we can't sleep on anyone like teams can sleep on Wes Johnson.
Al Harrington scares me the most, he can get a team back into the game with his streakiness from 3, so I think the key matchup has to be the two point guards (Rubio vs Lawson) and bench play.

Do you guys think we should go with the old lineup of putting wes at sg and beasley at sf. I mean luke is good at sg when he gets hot but he makes some dumb decisions. Wes hardly produces at sg or sf but he is a decent defender. Also beasley can make up for the offense we lose from ridnour. Plus even if wes and beasley dont produce love and pek will find a way to get it done.

I like how we're performing with the current lineup and bench rotations. I wouldn't change anything right now since we're on a roll.
