Trying to play off the wiretap of the Bulls wanting to add Gasol.

LAL out: Pau Gasol
LAL in: Michael Beasley, Carlos Boozer, Brad Miller (expiring)

CHI in: Pau Gasol
CHI out: Carlos Boozer, Luol Deng

MIN in: Luol Deng
MIN out: Michael Beasley, Brad Miller (expiring)

Price may be a little high for Chicago, but they are getting the best player in the deal. LAL gets a long term replacement for cheaper in Boozer as well as adding Beasley without using other assests. This would allow LAL to still go after a PG if they so choose. MIN turns two players who wont be back next year into a solid wing player who is still under 27 years old.

LAL: Fisher/Bryant/Beasley/Boozer/Bynum
CHI: Rose/Hamilton/???/Gasol/Noah
MIN: Ridnour/Webster/Deng/Love/Pekovic

I think you have to add Wes Johnson, Martel Webster, or Matt Barnes to Chicago.
I'm going with Martel Webster.

I like Deng, when healthy he's a nice SF. But I doubt Kahn adds his contract to the team, these are not good numbers for the next two seasons;
$13,365,000
$14,275,000
Wes and his $4.2 million would definitely have to go. I think picking up Gerald Wallace from a rebuilding Portland might be more likely, though still unlikely.

I've been thinking about that. I would just sign Wallace as a free agent in the off season.

The Blazers are rebuilding? They should just get rid of Nate McMillan

Basically. Why would the Lakers want Boozer over Gasol? Gasol is so far more skilled and talented.
