the beginning of the season. At the beginning of the season nobody knew anything about rubio other than the fact that his last few seasons in spain were disappointing, and steve nash was supposed to be in decline or traded.
if rubio was still going, yeah, this would be a very exciting game. I'm just saying that nobody would have predicted that at the beginning of the season.

There was still a lot of hype around Rubio, and this game would've still been teacher vs student.
