Nikola Pekovic will undergo surgery on May 15th to remove bone spurs from his right ankle.

Pekovic has had a breakout 11-12 season for Minnesota.

The news actually came out about a week ago. However, I'm not sure if we actually discussed it.

Kudos to him for continuing to play through the injury.

There was some talk of him opting to just rest it in the offseason which I thought was a horrible idea. Glad he's taking care of it.
