Jon Krawczynski @APkrawczynski
#TWolves owner Glen Taylor tells AP he has started looking for an eventual successor, someone who will keep team in MN.
Glen Taylor tells AP he want to bring in minority owner for a few years w/option to buy him out eventually. #Twolves
Glen Taylor hopeful Target Center plan passes. W/that and new CBA, thinks time is right to bring someone in.
Glen Taylor says he's had a number of offers to buy #TWolves, but won't sell to group that wants to move it.
Taylor thinks it might have to be outsider who agrees to keep #TWolves here. "I haven't had a lot of Minnesotans step up."

Very cool that he wants to keep it here. Someone needs to step up from here to keep it here.

Why don't we pool all our resources and buy it as a minority group? We'll call ourselves the RealGM Timbertrolls group!

I'm willing to be his successor; I assume it'll be like that Bart/Mr. Burns episode?

I know a lady that is the daughter of one of Glen Taylor's good friends. So I'm pretty much a shoo-in, you guys.

Well the first thing I'd do is...
give our scouts the pink slip (like a boss)
skim draftexpress (like a boss)
trade for Odom (like a boss)
hold him hostage (like a boss)
get arrested (like a boss)
Score 100 (like a boss)
free pizza (like a boss)
evaluate my finances (like a boss)
young girls refuse my advances (like a boss)
cry in the bathroom (like a boss)
now I'll do it all over again (like a boss)
I'm the boss

But it's true. Wolves wouldn't be the same in a different state/city. That wouldn't feel right. It's bad enough Minneapolis already lost a franchise once.
Might also be caused by the fact that clubs in Europe stick with their city.

I immediately quit on the notSonics as soon as I knew they would move to OKC.

If they moved the team out of Minnesota, I would be gutted.

Not to mention they are just about to renovate the Target Center

I also looks like there are other parties interested in ownership as well that are local people. I have a hard time seeing Glen Taylor selling to someone who would move the Wolves, if there are other guys looking to keep the team here.
