With James Harden's stock falling fast due to his extremely piss-poor play in the Finals, do you think his stock will drop? And if so, how much? Or do you think most teams will not overreact to one bad series and he'll still be a hot commodity?


I would still LOVE to get Harden in a Wolves uni, even if it means overpaying for him. With him being so bad in the Finals, some teams may be less willing to give him a nice pay day. Do you agree? What do you think?

OKC still isn't letting him go.

I don't think his stock has dropped. He's being asked to guard Wade and Lebron. That's going to be taxing on a player.

If he does get traded for financial considerations, I think he'll be traded to Charlotte for Beal, MKG, or Robinson.

Not enough for us to ever be an option however for him.

His league-wide perception dropped from borderline superstar to a lesser level but a good GM does not overreact over one bad series. Unfortunately for us, Presti is a very good GM. Unless they're in cost cutting/saving mode and want to avoid the luxury tax he ain't gonna be traded for a lesser package due to one bad series (against two of the best wing players in the league, I may add).

Stock isn't dropping at all. We all saw what he did the first 3 rounds. One bad series, that isn't over yet, won't deter some team from giving him a near-max deal in the future. If he drops 30 tonight, people will be all about the beard again. I'd love him on the wolves.

The only thing his play in the finals does is give OKC cover to make a salary dump with him.
Perkins/Harden for Pek/Williams/Ridnour saves OKC a lot of money while still giving them a very effective team. If they extend Pekovic for 3 years before the season starts (say 3 years, $30 mil) I think it makes sense for them. Perkins making $9 mil in 2014/15 does not make sense to them, and will really hurt them.

It's a good "value" team.

I still think they are better off trading Westbrook/Perkins instead and building around Durant/Harden but what do I know.

Even though I'd hate to see Pek go, I wouldn't mind that trade. We get the SG we need, plus a defensive center (even though he seems to be headed on the downside of his career).

If Wes could recapture the shooting stroke from his rookie year (lol) and play stout defense, then that'd be a perfectly balanced starting line-up. A Rubio/Harden backcourt would be insane, perhaps a top 3 backcourt in the league.
