Hrm
According to that we're basically about to sign Roy, Shved, and Crawford.

i'd definitely be ok so long as it was minimum to about 2 million bucks....play him 15-20 minutes a night - 9-10 in 4th qtr and 5-10 throughout rest of game...don't play him on back to backs....he could really help us in 4th qtrs.

If we could get both Roy and Crawford, I would be pretty happy. Crawford thrives as a sixth man, and Roy would need rest. Draft White at 18. Try Williams at the 3 or look to trade him for a veteran quality 3. Rubio, Roy, Williams, Love, Pek with Ridnour/Barea, Crawford, Wes, and White on the bench.

I'd rather take a shot on Shved than Crawford any day. He'll be cheaper and might end up being pretty productive, as opposed to Crawford who we already know is going to be mediocre at best.

I like Crawford more than most. I would be fine with Shved as well, just a bit of an unknown. He could be really good as well though.

He's also quite young, and could be an awful good duo with Rubio for a long time if they worked out.

And I'm fairly certain that Roy accepts an offer to play elsewhere.

I am all for give Brandon Roy a shot.Even if he's half the player he once was he's still a big upgrade at the SG spot and would be the best fit at that spot sense when we had Wally and Spree.

Depending on his heath it might be best if he was used as a 6th man,but none the less I am full on broad with this move.Still have doubts that it will happen sense were the Wolves and we never land the big name or even middle type free agents.Plus Roy probably would want to play for a title contender right away due to his heath issues.

crawford sucks. I don't want him on the field. I would take landry fields over him any day. At least, he doesn't play dumb basketball. It is unfortunate we are lookign at that type of player to sign instead of a reasonable 10 mil player like batum

Why not grab all three? Roy definitely won't be able to play anything more than 20 minutes a night, will probably sit 15 games alone. Shved is a wildcard at best. We know what we'd get with Crawford, even if it weren't that special. If Roy is a 2 year deal, Shved is a 4 year deal, and Crawford gets 2-3, we have some pretty manageable contracts and allow Shved to get acclimated to the NBA.

Because they'd be spreading out a bunch of money over three players who aren't starting SGs.

Considering Roy shouldn't be a lot of money, and Shved isn't going to land a deal larger than 4/16, I don't think we're spreading A BUNCH of money out. And if Rubio isn't ready til late November/December, these are three guys who can handle the ball (although I wouldn't trust Shved immediately). Crawford is an upgrade over everyone we had play SG last year and the other two have the potential to be. I don't really see it as that big of a risk.

It's still better than drafting a project at 18.

what realistically is there on the market, anyway? Ray Allen? Kevin Martin?

I like Roy, but I'm concerned (as with everyone) how long his knees will hold up for the two-year contract. It's certainly a gamble.
