With Bosh now being out the bigs are really looking slim for team USA. Good news is, that means we should see a lot of Love. Bad news, Love may get weathered playing all those minutes.

Considering Chandler will likely get the bulk of the C minutes and Lebron/Anthony/Durant will get fowrad minutes, him and Griffin will probably split backup C minutes. Is anyone left on the olympic team, everyone seems hurt.

Lamar Odom: Woo hoo! The two sweetest words in the English language: de-fault, de-fault, de-fault!

Won't happen, but I'd like to see Love start at center.

Paul/Bryant/James/Durant/Love starting
Westbrook/Wade/Iguodala/Anthony/Chandler off the bench

I'd say Bosh's injury means Anthony Davis is gonna make the team.

I wouldn't mind if they made a spot for Bernard James, the second round pick of the Mavs who's an Air Force vet and served a few tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. I think it would be a popular move.

Not sure. Anyone know if Pekovic will play for Montenegro? Is he still recovering from surgery?

Montenegro didn't qualify for the olympics neither for the preolympic tournament. They'll be playing the 2013 eurobasket qualification in late august.

I know this wasn't much of a shocker, but K LOVE made the olympic team!

Taken from the Gen. Board

[GR] wrote:In a phone interview with FOX Sports Florida, Colangelo said 2008 Olympic and 2010 FIBA Worlds holdovers are on the team:

LeBron James
Kobe Bryant
Carmelo Anthony
Chris Paul
Deron Williams
Kevin Durant
Russell Westbrook
Kevin Love
Tyson Chandler

Colangelo said that leaves six players vying for the final three spots as Team USA will have practices Friday and Saturday in Las Vegas before the team is announced at 7 p.m. EDT Saturday in a selection show being televised by NBA TV. They are Blake Griffin, Andre Iguodala, Rudy Gay, James Harden, Eric Gordon and Anthony Davis. Despite a sprained ankle that could sideline him this week, Colangelo said Davis remains under consideration for the team.

Colangelo said Lamar Odom dropped out Monday, leaving Team USA with 15 finalists. He said there will be no further additions to the team. The three finalists who don't make the 12-man roster will be alternates.

Congrats Boy!
