Iggy has been traded to Denver so what is the next step in order for Minnesota to win a championship?

4.Love/Williams
3.Kirelinko/Budinger
2.Roy/Shved
1.Rubio/Rindour/Barea

Who else/ what else is necessary with Iggy off the table?

I don't think Iggy was ever an option, so I don't think this is a big change from 2 days ago

I just want to focus on getting healthy, making the playoffs , and being consistently competitive. Wolves have a potentially great team and just need to worry about getting the offense down and incorporating all the new pieces. Can't think about how to build a championship team before stepping out on the court yet.

i would give them Barea or Ridnour too.

Kevin Martin would be a great fit. we need that outside scorer and although we got BRoy hes not a sure thing.
K-Mart would solidify our team for success

I think it's a no brainer that we need to add another backup center. Pek and Stiemsma both had injury issues last year, and we'll need a defensive presence in the paint this year more than last with Ricky probably starting a month or 2 into the season. Someone who can play post defense on NBA centers.

There is no realistic shot at winning a championship with this roster. When they re-sign PEK, that'll be it, no cap space to sign anybody. The core of PEK-Love-AK-Rubio is good, but not THAT good. Other teams are just too stacked. Barring some incredible luck (other team's injuries, Shved/D-Will becoming stars) this team's ceiling is 2nd round bound.

Speaking as a Bucks fans, I'd be a litlle more optimistic about your future. Assuming everybody stays healthy (always a big assumption i.e. Rubio), a few years down the line your Wolves could be a serious contender in the East. Maybe capable of going toe to toe with Miami. (Although I will say Miami looks awesome for the next four or five years) The Bucks made the playoffs last year, and I'd pick your Wolves as having the better future. You've got arguably the best power forward in the league, a point guard maybe in the top five (if he stays healthy), and a top ten center. Maybe top five center...again if he stays healthy. That's not too shabby. Kirilenko is a proven commodity who will help. If Williams and Shved develop, the Wolves will give any team trouble. They did that last year and were on their way to the playoffs before Rubio went down. At any rate, the Wolves have the potential to score a lot of points and make bigger waves this year.

Considering that AK is on a 2 year deal, and 31 years old I don't think he'll be here for the long haul.

Considering Rubio/Love both have a chance to be top 10-15 players in the NBA I'd say that's a damn good duo to build around and would be better then "2nd round bound".

In my lifetime 9 franchises have won an NBA Championship. Let's not become delusional and think we're going to become the 10th any time soon. I'll take 2nd round and a WCF every 20 years and be happy. It's not defeatist, it's simply reality.

Sorry pal, you''re correct. I just remember the Wolves come close to beating or beating a lot of top east teams. So the Wolves are in the west. And they're still looking good. Now they don't have to play the Heat to get to the Finals.
