Skip Bayliss jumps on the "DK for GM of the year" bandwagon and denies ever having said a bad word about him.

In my My Career mode in NBA2k13, the finals were Miami Heat vs Minnesota Timberwolves. Heat took the title in 7 games.

For my bold predictions:
Shved plays well enough to be included for ROY discussions
Pek continues to improve and might still win the MIP award
Love goes higher in the list of MVP, probably 3rd or 4th
T'wolves get 1st round home court advantage (top 4 team in West)
Rubio never goes into the dreaded Sophomore Slump

T'wolves go deep into the playoffs (barring any significant injury)

Wolves end up with 53 wins in the regular season.
They get the 5th seed and oust the Clippers in the first round, then lose in the second.
Roy plays all season and averages about 28 minutes per game.
Ridnour, Barea, and Williams are still on the team after the deadline.

The only trades the Wolves are a part of include us gifting our draft picks to move unfavorable contracts.

Wolves make the playoffs, but only win 1 game.

The Wolves stay major injury free for the entire season (very Bold indeed).

Wes Johnson becomes relevant in PHX, and nobody in MN cares (except for Youngguns and I).

These are more "outside the box" predictions...

David Benz can't hold his own, and FSN ends up looking for another play by play guy at seasons end.

Glen Taylor's "apprentice GM" will act loyal to MN, but in time will prove that he is not as loyal as he first led on.

Roy moves to the bench, not because of knees, but because Shved playing so well.
Cunningham will start any games Kirilenko misses, not Williams.
Pekovic will average 18-20 ppg, and he will make the All-Star team along with Kevin Love.
Budinger will contend for Sixth Man of the Year.
Shved will participate in the dunk contest.

I know this is supposed to be bold predictions, but if Shved ever starts over Roy it's definitely because of the knees.

Gut feeling (no pun intended)

Roy with good knees is a top 10 player in the league, so that's a lot expectation you're putting on Shved.

Rubio will come back at Dec being a good shooter and stronger than last season, and the team gets the eigth of the west and the 0.500 at early Feb.

I wouldn't say he has good knees though. He has still lost explosiveness since his Portland days.

Also, I feel Roy and Luke are a better backcourt pairing, as well as Rubio and Shved.

I guess I misunderstood when you said "not because of the knees". You just meant not because Roy will be missing games.

Brandon Roy will end the season playing 20-25 min/game and looking near his best ever.
The Wolves will get home court advantage in the playoffs and beat Memphis in a 7 game series.
The Wolves will be in the top 5 for 3pt efficiency on the season.
Alexi Shved will emerge as a legit defender and finish 2nd in RoY ballots.

DW will be traded for vet SG and 2013 pick prior to deadline ... Roy will start showing signs of wear and Shved will be inconsistent in extended minutes. Big fan of both so I don't want to be negative, but it is a reality that I fear.

How about this one...

Kevin Love does NOT average 10 rpg this season.

That one wouldn't shock me Klomp.

I may have to recant my prediction that Williams isn't traded during the season. That might be too bold.
