MIN - ORL - MIL

Post#1 » by MNister89 » Tue Nov 6, 2012 9:24 pm

Since JJ Redick seems the most logical and attainable guy for the Wolves to target in near future and not just b/c he's white, I thought this might be a winner

MN
Gets: JJ Redick, Mbah a Moute
Gives: Derrick Williams, Luke Ridnour
Why: Get great specialists in Redick (3P) and Mbah A Moute (defense) while clearing up log-jam at PF & PG. Williams, clearly disgruntled with role, brings back two nice assets.

MIL
Gets: Derrick Williams, Luke Ridnour
Gives: Brandon Jennings
Why: With Jennings potentially leaving anyway, the Bucks get both a young talent in Williams who needs a fresh start and a steady famliar face in Ridnour who had his best year in Milwaukee. Rather than watching Jennings walk for nothing, the Bucks are proactive and get two rotation players.

ORL
Gets: Brandon Jennings
Gives: JJ Redick
Why: Redick's game is wasted on rebuilding Magic and Jennings gives Magic a key piece in rebuilding effort. Jennings, Afflalo, Harkless, Vujecic, and tons of cap-space and draft picks give Magic lots of flexibility.

Ridnour for Reddick seems reasonable value
Williams for Moute? GTFO

Ridnour for reddick is not reasonable value. Reddick is easily a better player than Ridnour

He's not that good defensively and offensively is a spot-up shooter that can't create and overpaid a bit.
JMO, but no he's not.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

Terrible for the Bucks, but I love the idea of packaging Williams and another asset for Redick.
