Shved looked really good. You could see he was one of the most talented players in the game imo. He just does so many things at a high level.

You were saying?

 I was dead wrong. The Manimal must have read my post.

His issue is confidence. It seems he can get dejected very easily. I attribute that to being a rookie but he has to have more belief in his game. All the tools are there. I just hope in the future Adelman really gets on him about being more aggressive. He can get to the rack and make plays all the time. However, instead he often just settles for contested 3's.

I'm really happy our guys got to play. They looked like they had fun out there and they got to feel good about their games again. I know I had a lot of fun watching them. Rubio and Fareid started a bromance too. I liked how everyone on Chucks team got their due, they shared the ball very well, they even encouraged Shved to do more at the end. You guys are crazy for not wanting them to play in this game. It's just such a positive experience all around. Lets hope they can bring that back to the team.

I might sound old, but remember when Saturday night during All Star week was fun? These skills competitions are boring. Yeah the slam dunk contest has gotten a bit stale, but still the best part.

This east to west thing that cut down 1 guy from 3p shootout ruins it.

There's way to much extra stuff in between the contest. They could get rid of all of the musical performances, reward ceremonies, special interest things, etc and the whole thing would be way better and a good hour shorter.

not trying to be a negative nancy, but i don't think i'll watch an all star event in the future. they should just rename it the "best buddies for life extravaganza."

There are off years and on years with events. This is looking like an off year for the most part.

I like how NBA 2K13 makes the dunk contest impossible. You can do a dunk that destroys anything we have seen this millennium and they don't give you anything. The expectations are so ridiculously out of proportion compared to real life. These guys aren't even finishing dunks lol.
