You left out the most hilarious part:
"Would an offer of Love and a ’14 No. 1 pick, along with picks 9 and 26, in exchange for Cleveland’s No. 1 constitute overpaying? Depends on how new GM Flip Saunders feels about Noel, the kid from Kentucky with the torn ACL who may become the first overall No. 1 draft pick to walk to the podium using crutches to shake commissioner David Stern’s hand."

Sheridan might be worse than Sam Smith these days. Not deserving of a thread any more than, speculation: Wolves Would trade Derrick Williams for the #1 pick.

I really hope he meant, the Cavs would throw in a 2014 first. I don't even think we have a 2014 first.

I'd want #1, #19, #31, #33 and Tristan Thompson.
I'd like to see what pick Derrick Williams would net in this draft. I would deal him for anything top-12.

I thought Flip was supposed to have a bit more cache in the NBA. This is the kind of thing you would expect them to come up with if Kahn was still here.

Noel would have to be a Lebron-Durant level type of prospect for that trade to make any sense.

I thought about a deal like that the other day.
But the Cavs are the ones who are chasing this kind of deal and they should be overpaying. They want to trade the pick.
I'd consider something along the lines of #1 + Waiters + some other picks/assets for Love.
