95 points for ATL, without Bjelica, with injured RR. Nice job!

He isnt a point guard and never will be. Its not about the body shape its about the mind. Just like A.I. never was a point guard despite being 5'8 or so. Zach may or may not become a decent SG but i cant believe he develops some sort of basketball IQ after seeing him shoot so many dumb shots. He still believes that if one goes in, all others are forgotten. As much as i have been criticising smitch i cant believe that is the offense he imagines for hsi bench 5. Sadly he seems to favor Zach and allow him to get away with stuff others would get benched for in the blink of an eye. No consequences -> repeat and extend

Regardless of his best position, this was a flat out good game for Zach. He shot efficiently and had a 3:1 assist to turnover ratio.

Gotta give Gorgui credit when he deserves it. He does have some games sometimes that shows that he can be a good NBA backup at center.

LaVine with some really silly shots late, but he has progressed so much already and will learn from it. He's gonna be so good when he can get consistent playing time at SG. Some really good defence late here as well.

Most importantly though, Wolves win!

Get used to Zach as our point guard. It's very early in the season and Ricky is already hobbling. I wouldn't doubt at some point during the year Ricky is on a minutes limit type of deal

Dieng was the MVP.

He was controlling both sides of the ball. Best game Ive seen from Dieng in over a year.

Lavine played a good game as well, I actually seen him put a little effort on defense.

Wiggs had a bad game, but he did manage to put in that dagger late in the 4th.

Truth. That's what dudes do who gotta lotta time on their hands. Not gonna' play, so might as well. If Rubes ends up in that club, in a fuccin body cast, wiggling his fingers, trying to do all the handshakes and ****, I'll be devastated. Not a club you wanna be in.

Didn't see the game, but it's a weird looking box score. How come Towns only got six shots and 22 minutes?

It's good that they can find a way to win against a good team when the stars aren't playing well, though.

Positions are irrelevant. Zach may not fit your description of the traditional PG but the 1 is where he may end up having the most success when he develops.

A team needs to have at least one play maker on the floor to initiate offense and make the right play and pass to get his teammates good shots within the flow of that offense. I mean, I guess you could say that positions are irrelevant since that player does not have to be the PG, but it makes it a heck of a lot easier if that is the case, and as golden state has shown, more playmakers on the floor results in better shots.

Lavine is a pretty poor playmaker. Our team also does not have a whole lot of them besides Rubio, Towns, and maybe Bjelica. None of those dudes were playing in the fourth, and that is one of the reasons why our offense did not look very pretty. Sure, we scored a lot of points and won, but we played a lot of iso ball, and iso ball is a comparatively inefficient offense.

I would say the Wolves are one of the early NBA surprises. Nobody really expected them to be this competitive so far this year. They are right in the thick of things out west. Whether or not they can sustain this is anyone's guess but it's good to see
