That crab dribble spin-back at 0:52 looks like a half speed drill against an assistant coach.

But also 15 points, 7 boards, 4 block in 16 minutes in his first ever professional game coming off a serious injury. He'll be fine, but thank god he's got the G League to work through.
Thriving on mediocrity since '89.

His explosion isn't there yet. That's obvious watching him go up for dunks, and even as he got ready to go up. Most of his defensive plays tonight were because of his elite length and good timing.

I know I've been the highest on his ability here, but I believe he's eventually going to be ready to be the big we need to add to our rotation.

A reminder that Patton's second game for Iowa is about to begin (he's not starting)

Wow, Anthony Brown is leading the G League in minutes played, per the Memphis broadcast.

Patton's second stint starts with a big dunk. Looking much more fluid today.

Showing off his passing too. Couple nice dimes.

So good at the rim.

Remember, he shot 81% at the rim last year at Creighton

I really wanna see him and Millsap called up. We could use some new combinations.

Seriously, there's about 5 guys I'd be fine calling up.

It is also like the perfect time to try new things with the team short handed with injuries and the starters struggling. Schedule is pretty soft too.

Must be 100fans total at the game in Memphis. If it is that low in Iowa, I might make a road trip to Des Moines this year

I think they average better than that, but I don't know. That's the case at a few places in the league from the little I've seen. In fairness, the Hustle are a brand new franchise in a new G League market.

Perry Jones 3 could be a decent Bjelly stop gap as well.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
