That half was amazing! Gives me hope that you can have an elite defensive team even though not all of your players are elite in isolation.

So GSW gets to play SA without Leonard and now CLE gets BOS without Thomas.....

Some terrible conference finals. Complete cake walks for the top teams.

Ouch. That hurts. I feel like dominance of LeBron will affect NBA landscape a lot.

This is the worst playoffs I've ever seen. I can't even imagine getting any joy out of either of these teams winning. I hope the Warriors win and Durant feels nothing when he hoists the trophy.

Yeah, the only thing to root for this year is for Golden State to lose. I couldn't care less who the opponent would be either.

Cavs losing is a good thing, imo. It enables them to be humble and teaches them not to take leads for granted, they can get them to your head. Better to lose now than to lose later on, which they will at some point bc GS is such a good team. Only the trophy matters.

Agreed, this could be a good thing for the Cavs, to wake them up a bit. Too much winning can get you complacent.

On another note, I am super disappointed in Aldridge. What a pathetic series for him. I considered him a top10 player, but this was just crap.

Been a lot of negative talk about the playoffs, but the way I see it, we're going to get one hell of a good finals series with the way the Cavs and Warriors are playing. Plus neither team has had much success before their current championship runs, neither of them had won a championship before 2015, so that gives hope to the smaller market teams out there like Minny. At least we're not having to watch the Lakers, Celtics or Bulls pile on more championships.

He has been injured, so his performance is clearly affected. Also small ball basketball without Leonard is very tough matchup for him

I wish we can watch MIL vs MIN final after LeBron retires.

Well... the Warriors had won a championship or two some forty-odd years ago. I don't exactly know when without having to look it up but they definitely had won one before.

But I absolutely see your point considering how dreadful the Warriors were in the last two decades before their current dominance has begun.

Edit: I had to look it up. They had actually won several championships before 2015. The first one back in 1947 although I'm not sure if you could call that an NBA championship since the NBA technically didn't exist. It was still the BAA and they were a few years removed from the merger with the ABL to the NBA. Anyway, their 2nd (or 1st if you wanna exclude pre-NBA times) came in 1956 when they were still the Philadelphia Warriors. Then in 1975, after they had relocated to the Bay Area, they won their second to last championship as the Golden State Warriors.

LeBron who has been playing in Big 3 teams since MIA, faces GSW Big 3 and loses. What an irony.
