I'm warming up to Isaac. If we draft him, I hope we let Bazz go and go hard after JJ or Ingles on a 2 year contract

I'm going to assume DSJ will be gone. It sounds like he made a really strong impression w Orlando. I'm expecting he'll go 5 or 6.

If Tatum and DSJ are off the board, I'm thinking Monk. Not the greatest fit, but he can really shoot the 3 ball and is a gifted scorer.

We can solve our PF issue by signing Green away from Memphis vs drafting a pf w a high probability of busting (Isaac/Markkanen.) That's only my opinion of course but I don't trust either of those guys. I'm still really bummed Bridges went back to school.

Hmmm.. where to start.. my honest take is it's a 3 man draft and then there is tier two.. sadly we fall in tier two..
I think the first thing we do draft week is find out how realistic pick 2 or 3 is to obtain.. la fans are talking about dumping mozgof and deng. Would they add pick two for our pick seven and hill/Aldrich.. yes that caps our free agent signings a lil, but Jackson feels like a star. And a chance to solidify one more.. moving Wiggins to the 2.. and getting lavine all year to tear up second units and get healthy.. I think this is my first priority if la is truely looking to dump those salaries. It would only end up being eating mozgov , cuz thibs would like deng as a utility pf.. and sadly I would to over gorgi..
with that said. That's first choice for me.. period .. bring on the hate all u want. I'm ready.

So u can see I'm ok with moving the pick first. Then if nothing else

Isaac fills a need right now. Probably see him start at pf all year because why not..

I like monk the best of the second tiers. He would be my fav target. Feels he brings the most to the table..

But if we go after monk. I'm looking at moving Rubio to Dallas or Denver for their pick.. because I know we will strike out in FA..

I was also on board with buying a pick from Portland to eat one of their bad contracts. But that's another convo in itself..

Feel free to rip this up.. I'm ok with that.

I really hope we can draft Isaac, but I just have a feeling he could end up going before Josh Jackson and Jayson Tatum.

Before Tatum sure, but can't see it before Jackson.

Probably Monk. He is most suited for a super sup and that's what you need. Other suggestion would be Markannen from Arizona if you thought KAT was a center.

I feel like Jackson has become somewhat overrated.

Crap... well Isaac it is then. Just saying he can pnr defend and switch all positions puts him and towns in front court and that means gs isn't lobbing 3 pointers from pnr space created.. ok I'm in...

Drafting a supersub with top 10 pick in a good draft seems like a waste. Besides we have 3 20 ppg scorers and we don't need a supersub. Look at teams like Warriors and Cavs. Who's their supersub? they don't need one, just keep one star in the game at all times. Now if extending LaVine isn't on the cards then Monk makes sense.

I'm hungry. I could go for a super sub right now.

In a way you're right that we don't need one "supersub," but we do need a pretty significant boost off the bench.

We averaged 22.8 points per game off the bench, worst in the league by almost 4 points. Over 40 percent of those points came from Shabazz Muhammad, who may not be back.

When LaVine was healthy he was the supersub with the bench crew. Did they count his points in that average? I think that number is flawed. We usually had a starter (Zach, KAT) taking most of the shots while playing with our bench scrubs.
