I'm not super excited as I don't know if we will get a game changer at 7. I do think though there is big potential for a deal to bring in a vet and that is a bit exciting. I think Thibs is at the point where he really doesn't want to add more young talent unless he strongly feels it will benefit the team. I am pretty much in that boat. I would probably take Issac but anyone else, I would really be looking to get a good vet if possible.

You bring in a guy like Butler, maybe even Aldridge if he can get back to form, and you got a real boost to your playoff hopes. If Love was available involving a deal around 7 for some reason, I'd pull that trigger too. I would trade for Porzingis too but I don't think he is really going to be moved. Think that is Phil mostly saying Phil things.

I really don't see Tibs drafting him unless he trades down a few spots, and still think it's unlikely. I think Towns can handle most of the 4's in the league. PF should be the pick if Issac is there. I am kinda changing my mind between DSJ and Issac.

Lol. No surprise that Woj is tweeting out that Rubio will get traded. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Every dog has his day ... one of these times he will be right.

Remember ... any trade/draft pick will need to help address shooting, interior defense, and toughness. Still wide open out there...

Reddit Magic fans overwhelmingly want Dennis Smith at #6 over Isaac!

I've been trying to come to terms with Isaac being gone when we get to #7. I hope reddit is right!

Charlotte should be willing to trade up. We take Collins, OG, or whoever else you want at 11 and send you our 2018 1st top 3 protected. If you don't want the 1st you can have Marvin Williams instead.

Throw in #31 with OG and the 2018 1st and that would be close to my ideal draft night.

Some minutes before it starts could someone post streaming or live link? I am going to follow the draft on my smartphone...

Ugh...

Yes, his contract is a bargain but this may be the last chance the Wolves have at a top-10 pick for several years. Again, I struggle how such a deal could be made when Layden is describing this draft as "historic."

Holding out hope it's Brown not Crowder, or Crowder and one of their Euro stash bigs

Swap it for Jaylen Brown and call it a day ... then we can leave the Butler talk alone.

Like I said in the other thread, throw in an Aldrich for Zeller swap. Clear another $7 million...

With the Celtics wanting to chase Hayward in FA, doubtful they would oblige.

Maybe the "historic" talk is a smokescreen? It doesn't feel historic to me. Fairly deep with potential but not historic.
