So far I'm really bad at evaluating draft prospects    Because Tatum, Fox and DSJ all look good.

I think that we had to draft John Collins with that 16th pick of Bulls.
I was saying about him before the draft. We would had a starting big with a rookie contract if we drafted him
As far as I see until now in the summer league the real deal seems to be Derrick Rose Jr of the Mavs.
He had only 14 pts in the first day because he was guarded from Kris Dunn, but today he exploded with 26 pts.
He is explossive and has unreal jumping ability.
Before the draft I was between Monk , D. S. Jr and Tatum and I prefered Monk.
I want to see Monk but D. Rose Jr is impressive so far in the summer league

If Boston releases Demetrius Jackson I hope we snap him up on a 2 way contact.

Good comparison. I think he winds up being one of the 16th and 17th spots we keep for emergency and we get a vet min guy for 3rd PG right now, but if they're confident in Crawford being able to help handle the ball we could do worse.

I was going to give you some good-humored ribbing but every time I look at your avatar I bust out laughing. It reminds me of the Phantasm trilogy horror movies where they would shrink people down small enough to be sent back to another universe as slaves. We have Darth Vader facing off against The Tall Man!!!

I've always had a really good tract record for scouting. The only one I was wrong on was Gerald Green but, hey, at least he's had a long career in league. Not a total bust. In this draft, I was high on Malik Monk, Johnathon Issac, Dennis Smith Jr, and Jayson Taytum.

I'll be honest, I wanted him strictly because he has a cool name. I did think he would be better than this, though.

Which will end up the better player? Bender or Dunn. They went 4-5 in the draft and both sucked there rookie season.

Probably Dunn. He has a legit NBA skill (defense) right now.

Bell is getting more attention but Costello looks like the better player.

We should keep him on two way contract. He is limited but he is high IQ, hard nosed player.

Yeah, I don't see this team winning a single game.

And then we proceed to win the next two....

I just got in during the last few minutes. It was a lot of fun. Costello pretty strong rebounding.

Cooke looks like a good project. He has good size, can shoot a little bit and has some moves from the triple threat.

The play where he tied the game where he didnt settle for the jumper and then he blocked McCaw in the other end was outstanding.

He reminds me more of Travis best.

Not sure if others caught it(in case I misheard something), but during the Thibs interview in middle of SL game last night...Mark Jackson asked Thibs about his assistant coaches, and named John Lucas when listing off the coaches. Thibs didn't address any of the coaches by name, but also didn't correct him on John Lucas....but did I miss something about John Lucas being part of the staff?

Have we heard about coaching candidates for G-League team? Wonder if Saunders is getting heavy consideration and that is why perhaps new coach coming in?

More I watch Cooke, the more I like him. He has some solid physical skills and a decent stroke. A project though, kinda short for his skillset.
