Vote: Who should we have for PG this year?
Bold and up the vote counter for your choice
Lowry 3 years, $33 mil per year
Jrue 4 years $25 mil per year
George Hill, 3 years, $19 mil per year
Teague 3 years, $19 mil per year
Rubio 2 years, $14.5 mil per year
[I know that these offers would have been higher if we had been bidding with other teams later in the process, but let's pretend that doesn't matter!]

RR is the best value PG but Thibs doesn't think he fits with what he's building so I'll go with that. Lowry and Holiday are too expensive, Hill didn't want to play for Thibs.

It's between Hill, Teague, and Rubio for me. But I like Teague because he is a better fit than Rubio and more durable than Hill.

Thankfully we dodged that bullet.

I'd easily take Jrue @25/per over Hill @19/per.

I could understand this poll if it were taken before we traded Rubio, but after we signed Teague WTH. So my vote is for Teague because he is the one who will be playing for us.

That makes absolutely no sense if I'm understanding the OP's question. Otherwise if you aren't taking contracts into consideration shouldn't everyone have wanted Paul or Lowry?KGdaBom wrote:I could understand this poll if it were taken before we traded Rubio, but after we signed Teague WTH. With Jammer's vote
Lowry 3 years, $33 mil per year
Jrue 4 years $25 mil per year
George Hill, 3 years, $19 mil per year (2)
Teague 3 years, $19 mil per year (5)
Rubio 2 years, $14.5 mil per year (1)
This question is assuming we knew all the contracts, who would you have chosen?

The OP's question is who should we have for PG this year. He then lists Ricky Rubio who is already traded. He follows that up with players that are all signed with other teams. The only option should be Teague. That is why I posted what I posted.
If we could invent a time machine and go back to before we traded Rubio than I could see the point to the question. As of now the question is pointless.

Sorry Shrink if my stance seems negative.

I guess I just completely understood what the OP was asking. Otherwise everything else he posted made little sense.

Yeah I knew what he intended, but I still think this is a waste of effort voting on what people think we should have done. It's already over and done with. On the other hand I guess I'm wasting time making my point.

Re: Vote: Who should we have for PG this year?
Reports were Hill didn't want to play for us. The reason Rubio was getting so many turnovers when slashing to the rim because teams knew he was going to pass. It was clear we needed a quick, good finisher at the rim that has better shooting skills. My vote goes to Teague.
