Re: Jamal Crawford on his way to Minnesota?
This guy LOVES the Crawford signing and considers the Wolves the second best team in the NBA now.

Lets hope KAT and Wiggins are better defensively this coming season or that line up will get killed by any semi competent offensive team

No clue. There was one from when he was rumored to and eventually did sign, but not one dedicated to his play. Maybe I'll merge that one in.

Re: The J-Crossover Thread
I want to bring up a point I've made before.
Last year, there were a lot of people who felt Zach LaVine should come off the bench here. They saw the not-great fit with Wiggins and saw how his skill set would be useful off the bench. Some even went as far as to compare him to Jamal Crawford.
Well, rather than just moving LaVine to the bench, Thibs maximized on Zach's upside and swung him in a deal to swap out for a guy who's much better now and fits Thibs and his schemes. But Thibs didn't stop there, I think he knew Gibson would start and move Dieng to the bench. He knew the success Gorgui and Zach had in two-man game and thought the guy compared to Zach could come in and replicate some of that same 2-man game success. Also, by moving that production to the bench, it balances out the two units, no longer takes those touches from Wiggins and Towns, and guys on the bench unit like Bjelica and Jones can thrive playing off of that two-man action.
All from a couple of simple moves.

That makes sense, great stuff Klomp.
Great analysis.

Amazing interview with Crawford. Touches on just about every question you have about the team

Re: The J-Crossover Thread
I think hes thoughts on wiggins and butler were interesting.
How the 2 bad losses reaffirms butlers impact to the team and butler himself.
Mitchell, thibs, and flip consistently rave about wiggins, but no one else seemed to know why. To contrast, Wiggs is probably the most disliked non bust first overall player for most fans. Crawford gave some insight on what wiggs is like behind the scenes and its probably something no one else had heard before.

What did you guys think of the insight he offered in thibs? For all the thibs haters what Jamal said should reaffirm his worth.

Re: The J-Crossover Thread
I thought his viewpoints on Thibs were excellent.
"Thibs honestly, I've never seen anything like it, there is no team that will be more prepared than we are. I KNOW IT! It's not possible. No, No , No. I've had 18 coaches, I've never seen anything like Thibs, he's so prepared. He's unbelievable. He watches everything. If something happens on the court and it doesn't go right, it's not him. I promise you, it's not him. He goes through everything A-Z. He's unbelievable, it's a joy to play for him."

Crawford on considering GS this summer:
“To be honest, I’m not sure how much interest they had,” Crawford said. “If I came to the Warriors, I’d be just a spoke in the wheel. I wanted to go somewhere that hasn't won. If I were on my last year and wanted to experience a championship, maybe it would be different. But I feel like I've got years left. I want to go through that journey with these guys (in Minnesota).”
