Wouldn't surprise me to see KAT and Butler improve the other aspects of their game, where they are stronger all around and let Wiggins just continue to be a gunner. I'm not sure if that's what I'd like, as I wanna see Wiggins really take another step in his overall game.

One of the best players in the game. How many guys look better than KAT going into this season? Not many.

KAT can improve nominally on offense be becoming more efficient and taking fewer threes. I know he made a good amount last year, but if he starts turning that little Dirk fadeaway into a consistently hit shot, he HAS to be doubled on the block. He needs to work on passing out of the block - finding Wiggs and Butler cutting, starting the rotation passing to get open threes.

Defensively he has a long, long way to go. Good news is that he has the tools physically, the coach and now a defensive minded teammate that will hold him accountable. He has the drive, I think he'll turn into a slightly above average defensive player by end of season, which would be great!

Put all this together and I think he's 2nd team all NBA.

In future seasons, if he becomes stronger and lighter on his feet for the defensive end, his ceiling is MVP. It's going to be so fun to watch him grow and turn into a consistent force in this league.

For single seasons; played in the NBA/BAA; in the regular season; from 1946-47 to 2016-17; from age 21 to 21; requiring Points Per Game >= 20; sorted by ascending Value Over Replacement Player

Towns is 8th all time in Value of Replacement player of all time for players age 21 scoring 20 or more points. Wiggins is last in that stat. Players in front of Towns... LeBron, Jordan, Shaq, Duncan, McGrady, KD and Anthony Davis, that's it.
