This upcoming Butler trade is gonna be a blessing in disguise for Wiggs.

Aside from also getting shade thrown by Stephen Jackson, this dude has full reign to maximize his potential as a great NBA player.

Wiggins has parted ways with Adidas.
He wore low nike shoes in the game vs SA but I didn't understand which ones(KD 11?)
From my experience a good choice of shoes can make some difference in a player's performance and I think that low shoes is a must for perimeter players

I root hard for Wiggy to do well. He just seems like a very good kid with a great temperament and we never hear about him being involved in stupid **** off the court. I just wish he could find his "competitive fire" when he's on the court and take losing more personally.

So far through a whole two games Wiggins has been much better than last year and this preseason led us to believe. However, he almost lost the Cavs game by missing shot after shot in crunch time.

His ball handling isn´t good enough yet but I can see an inprovement on it. He´s shown better passing abilities in these two matches and he can be a threat from beyond the arc. I hope Wiggins goes on in this way.

Once we see him posterizing again, he is back. I've had enough of his soft layups.

Almost feels like the reverse of Jeff Teague, who insists he's done dunking.

His ball handling is better this year and he seems to shoot better.
I think he is ready to play sg and take more touches and shot attempts

I wonder when Wiggins gains/build that lower body strength and some footwork to able to finish these layups without relying only on quickness and athleticism. Something that he should definetely learn from Butler.

Apparently he's a chance to play against Toronto, so it's pretty minor.

Wiggins is a good defender. In fact he is really good 1vs1 defender which is huge part of the defense.
If someone cannot understand this by watching him play, he can understand that from how bad the defense is without him.
He also needs to get a bigger role in offense. Thibs needs to adjust and change his mindset.

No Wiggins, no wins. We at least win sometimes when Jimmy is out. Wiggins is da real MVP.

I thought they beat Pacers when Wiggins was out for most of it. Is my memory off on that?

At this point I'm ready to see all the starters benched for a few games. Let's see how much they like watching.

I think Wiggins career will have same trajectory as Rudy Gay. So basically there is no chance he will improve significanlty when he is paid like All Star. We can hide his weaknesses at some degree, but he will remain the same player. We can surround him with better role players (read, shooter, pass first PG). Money was the only leverage we had to make him improve, now it is too late.

Wiggins seems that he has lost his vertical.
He has already declined athletically at the age of 23 without any injuries.
I don't really know what is going on with him but I tend to believe that he does not like playing basketball. I really cannot understand him

Didn't Wiggins have a small stint with back troubles in his second season? I don't think he missed games but maybe it changed his mindset about contact around the basket. He shot well in the Lakers game for a couple quarters and he was even more authoritative on at least two drives. If he could keep that kind of play up the team could really use it.
