I suspect Jones playing was supposed to be a teaching moment.

Towns was really disappointing today. I know it's just one game but I hope the hype doesn't get to him.

Before everyone freaks out remember.

This is the Spurs

We got a bunch of new guys

We didn't have a real training camp/preseason

Its not crazy that we lost this game. We aren't ready and its realistic that we wouldn't be. Team needs some time.

As bad as you say this was we had the lead late fourth quarter at San Antonio. Not that bad.

First game, they looked disjointed but hung in with a good Spurs team on the road. Wiggins looked good, Jimmy looked ok, KAT looked bad compared to what we expect. We will be fine.

Some of you are acting like Rubio was the difference on this team. Give me a break.

First game of the season. Everybody is rusty. I aint worried

This Towns reminds me of the Towns we saw at the beginning of last season. Not sold on Tyus being ready. Don’t know what Thibs was thinking there. Hopefully Towns never plays like he did tonight again, that was just sloppy.

Not the way to start the season. I remember last year reasonably early we lost to Memphis without Conley, Gasol or Parsons and lost a bunch of games against weak competition which ultimately cost us in the end.

Hopefully we can get a sync and chemistry quick because there's no time to waste in the west.

Now imagine how it would've been had they had Kawahi Leonard

So Crawford looks ok against the reserves, let's just leave the 37 year old out there 10 more minutes straight I'm sure it will work out fine... All it took was the right 4th quarter subs and we probably win this game.

Yeah, I'm not worried, we're gonna win enough games by outscoring weaker defenses than the Spurs one, and it's gonna be enough for 6-8 seed, I just think that our top 4 hopes should be let go because Towns just doesn't get the concept of playing percentages on defense, he always wants to make a defensive play so that hasn't changed from last year, and a lot of other players are underwhelming on D too. We'll figure it out offensively, we're too talented not to.

Out rebounded by 8, that's disappointing. This team is no where near having good chemistry and the team defense sucks.
