No... there’s enough teams that could use him. If he’s out of the league, it’s for a reason.

I don't know that I agree with your reasoning.

Why did Hassan Whiteside go so long without a team? Must've been for good reason, right? Nobody wanted him, so it must mean he isn't very good.

Hassan issues were mental. He tried to fight damarcus cousins in sac town. I don’t think Burke issues are mental. Think he can’t defend and he’s not a good spot up shooter. Tough to secure a spot in the league when that’s your MO.

Can we give a 10 day contact to Jarell Eddie? His shooting stroke looks good to me

Buy out season is upon us, so this thread will again have more relevance.

I think this is the most likely way that we add to the team. However, we don’t have cap space or any exceptions, so the most we can offer is the vet min. However, as we head towards the playoffs, we are a more attractive free agent destination than ever. Perhaps a vet will see us as a chance to reach the playoffs, but he will stay healthy with fewer minutes on Thibs bench. 40-year old Vince Carter, or Joe Johnson are possible buy out candidates.

Chicago sending Mirotic and 2nd rounder to NO for 1st, Asik, T.Allen and J.Nelson.

Why important... because of who may be released.

Any buyout player is going to be looking for minutes

What’s the best Wolves can offer?
The 6 mins that Bazz or MGH occasionally get?

Think the wolves will be near the bottom of a lot of these players list because of that

You can’t look at it like that... tony Allen assuming he’s healthy and still serviceable is better than bazz or mgh so he would get more minutes.

Thibs doesn’t play the bench little minutes cause he’d rather max out the starters. The bench isn’t that good lol.

Tony Allen or Quincy Pondexter would be an awesome addition

I wouldn't mind Allen, who at the very least could be a good influence on the Wiggins. I still think the Wolves need someone a lot better (Hood, Crowder) to hold off the Thunder and claim the NW Division.

Good for Monroe. Any news about Tony Allen possible destination? Dieng-Bjelica-Allen-JC-Tyus would be an interesting unit to see. Has a lot to offer both in offense and defense.

Info I can find on Allen(he's on the roster page for Chicago on nba.com, they have to release 1-2 players)...

Chicago's FO mouthpiece didn't mention him going in for a physical.

And of course, Minnesota was trying to add him this offseason so he knows they've wanted him. He'd be the wing defender Thib's been wanting for backup minutes.

He gets so many chances and never gets any run on the teams he's on outside of Philly when he was a rookie. I wouldn't waste the Wolves time

I grew up in 90’s in Greenville S.C 3-4mths in the years. I’ve always been a huge McDaniels fan he’s a good 2 way player and can score. He wouldn’t be a waste of a spot. Even a two way contract.

Wish we could get Rozier away from the Celtics and let him be a starter here.

I'd imagine of Tony Allen gets bought out, there would be strong mutual interest with OKC with Roberson done for the year.
Thriving on mediocrity since '89.

Did Tony Allen play for Thibs in BOS? Do they have any connection?
