20/10 means nothing when he gives up as much on the other end. His defense is a serious concern both for team success as his overall image/legacy.

You can't be the Center version of Harden because of the importance defense from the position has on winning.

You would bench him?

If benching KAT leads to more wins then do it. That’s all that matters, more W’s.

I'd bench him in crunch time unless he's killing it on offense. Situational thing, gotta do what leads to more wins even if that's sitting a talent like KAT until he's better on defense.

I can’t say KAT’s defense is bad because I haven’t seen him play defense.

This, Plus KAT NEEDS to get it thru his head that we NEED him to improve on D. Nobody want to bench him, but he is starting to become a liability with his lack of D and his complaining after non calls. He improves on just those 2 areas and the wins will come.

You’d be willing to “bench” Kat knowing it could lead to him leaving Minnesota for nothing?

I don't want to bench him at all, but if benching him gets the message thru his head that it's a team game and he is relied upon to play defense then yes. If asking him to play D, and he pouts like a baby and wants out because of it, do you really want him to be our leader?

Let me be clear.....I am hoping that he matures enough to realize what is EXPECTED out of him, and works on the areas he NEEDS to improve in.
I am not sure he could leave for "nothing." I doubt he leave max money on the table. My guess is, if he was truly unhappy about being benched, Thibs would be the first to go. And then good luck finding a good coach who lets the players do what they want.

No is not. Anthony Davis injurie problems is a big red flag.

Another problem with this team is ball movement. You cant just stand around the court and wait for something to happen. **** is happening everytime

100%

I’m just saying im a scenario where Kat makes it clear he’s not resigning... there’s only like 5-6 players that will get the wolves back even value that are tradable.

Giannis, Porzingis, embiid, Simmons, kawhi, = going nowhere
Boogie, brow, Jalen brown = actually accessible in the right scenario

Howd we go from benching to trading... He’s 22 and immature. Give him a timeout is all I meant. Jesus.

Over the past two games, the starting centers have gone....

Steven Adams 11/11
Deandre Jordan 8/8

....that is just disgraceful, Karl-Anthony Towns should be embarrassed with himself.

It is a tactical move from KAT to convince GMs of both team to make a trade.

maybe it needs a viral defense lowlights video like the Harden one a couple of years ago. it was so embarrasing, that he at least tried to defend a bit better.

The last defensive lapse he had will be on for a week

Serious question: Is KAT better now than he was in his rookie season?
