I'm all for it (in theory). You think Steven Adams goes 11/11 against DJ?

In practice, eh...... I don't know what we send to LA for him, how highly he's valued, and what happens to Taj, who is my second favorite Wolf right now.

In a scenario that we do get Deandre for cole, gorgui and pick.

Would it in anyway effect resigning Kat?

1. Teague
2. Wiggins
3. Jimmy
4. Kat
5. Deandre
Bench: Tyus, Crawford, Belly, Taj, Shabazz

This is absolutely enough to get into the second round and give the warriors/rockets a little fight.

Gorgui, Cole, Patton, okc 2017 pick, whatever leftover picks we have floating around isn’t as Bad a deal as some are making it out to be. Patton, okc pick and Minnesota picks are 100% positive value. Gorgui you could debate is positive value and Cole is negative.

Bucks would have to offer brogdon which I’m not convinced they’d do
Wizards aren’t offering oubre so there’s nothing there
The raptors don’t have much either
Cavs won’t put up that Brooklyn pick until Lebron commits.

If the clippers are desperate to get this trade done I’d consider us a dark horse favorite. Major trades like this are never fair lol.

Melo was bad for enes kanter
Paul george was had for oladipo and sabonis
Jimmy Butler was had for Levine and Dunn

Deandre for Patton, gorgui, Cole and picks isn’t that far fetched

Deandre Jordan will make this team a lot better in my opinion.
We do not need a scoring center we need a strong athletic center, who fights under the basket, plays defense and is a rim protector. Deandre Jordan is maybe the best center in the league in those aspects of the game.
I think that Teague should be the one who will sacrifized if this trade happens. This trade cannot be done with Dieng as main asset.
Something like Teague+ Dieng or Shabazz or next years pick.
And then trade for another pg to play with Tyus.
We cannot go far with Teague as pg, in my opinion he needs to get traded

Thibs is trying to develop KAT as unguardable stretch-5, not a 4. That's why we have Taj, Bjelica as xlear 4's, and Gorgui is more of a PF/C. Bringing in a straight center in Jordan would torpedo that plan.

Any Jordan deal would require Dieng going out, and that would make it tough to include enough compensation.

They're biggest issue was Kat and Dieng getting manhandled in the paint. If it is for the right price I'm all in.

Jordans defense is overrated. It's okay but nothing special, his biggest strenght is his rebounding, which we could acutually need. He also isn't the rim protecter he was a couple of years ago (only 1.1 this season). I'm also not sure about playing KAT at the 4 fulltime, while switching Taj to the bench. KAT is really bad at contesting 3s and as a PF he'd have to deal with floor spacers more often, but on the other hand, he's also really bad at contesting all the other shots as well.
It seems like a panic move and I don't like panic moves in general.

He's bad at contesting 3's because he hangs around the rim on defense. If he was guarding someone that's floor spacing with DAJ being the rim protector there's no reason he couldn't contest 3s better

I would be in favor of a deal if they get Jordan to waive his player option and guarantee two years of him, right along the other time frame. I would NOT include Patton, OKC 1st and our 1st for just him. Drop Patton and have Dieng, Aldrich, Bazz, OKC 1st and maybe our 2020 1st conditional. Maybe if they can't get anything else LAC go for it and I am good. Play KAT 20 minutes a game with DJ and 15+ with Gibson but Gibdon and DJ could almost never play together and would need DJ's other 10-15 minutes being with Bjelly.

I do not understand why everyone is so on the fence about this. WE NEED DJ.There are not many players that can to what he does at the rate he does. Our rebounding is atrocious, It is the reason for some of our losses. There is nothing more demoralizing than seeing Kat and Dieng or Taj fumble the ball away after a great defensive possesion, and DJ would help that.He is rebounding at a historic rate and we could use that. With him we would not be getting dominated by the Adams' and Cousins' and Drummond's of the world. He would also help spacing.

Yeah, wouldn't want toxic goofiness near any locker room...

I’m not sure what we could offer besides Wiggins.

I’m just saying we don’t have a lot to offer, just mid to late 1st round picks or guys like Tyus and Patton.

Clips would have to love Dieng and think he's a starting C and would be good, different fit with Blake since Dieng has a mid-range game. Otherwise there isn't anything that would make sense for likely a rental

Clips don't really have any "bad money" besides maybe Gallo for Wolves to take back as incentive with Aldrich's partial guarantee
