The Wolves schedule for the first 10 games has been brutal (with another tough back-to-back road game tomorrow against the Clippers). Looking at our schedule so far 8 of the 10 games are teams competing for the playoffs (the Spurs, Raptors, Warriors, and Blazers on the road and the Pacers, Bucks, Lakers, and Jazz at home) with only 2 games against lottery teams (DAL on the road in the second of a back-to-back and CLE at home).

Butler is sitting out again tonight. I think this is going to happen throughout the year like this until he is traded. At what point do you just take the best offer and move on?

I'd rather not make our team suffer out of spite.

We will see but I dont think it will be a crazy amount. Lets say he is here for a couple more months, I think after a couple of weeks he will miss less games. We will see though. At this point, even if he does start to enjoy playing with us (which I bet he does, especially seeing Okogie and Rose and what they bring) his ego probably wont let him come back into the fold 100 percent. He doesn't want to lose to the front office, look like he is coming back with his tail between his legs.

No, he's gonna get worse and worse. Jimmy is a bottomless blackhole.

Furthermore Jimmy's teammates have got to hate his guts. What kind of teammate skips practices, sits out games, no-shows shootarounds, cheers against your team, etc.

I dont know about all of that. I think Jimmy has handled this terribly but I also think everything he does now is painted as evil/trying to make the team look bad. He could be resting as a precaution to not getting hurt which would disastrous for us and him. Has he been skipping practices? I know he did before the season. Has he been skipping shoot arounds in games he's playing in? Cheering against the team? The little bit I saw of that clip I took it as him messing with the fans and I think we were up at that time. I didn't interpret it as him rooting against us. Thought he was mocking Warriors fans.

Where have you been??

Jon Krawcynski:
When the team showed up to the arena on Friday morning for shootaround, Butler wasn’t there. Eyebrows raised. Shoulders shrugged. And word even quickly reached the Bucks that something was up with their opponent for the night.

About an hour after shootaround had concluded, the Wolves added Butler to the injury report with an illness and said he would be questionable for the game.

Jimmy was then unreachable and the wolves didn't know if he'd even show up to the game. But he did and then Thibs started him.

Lillard is going off for 40 on this team unless Okogie/Rose are playing well and together tonight. Another late one. I might not make it.

Skip shootaround you're scratched from the lineup. Do it again it's you're suspended without pay. Thibs should know better. That being said, Kraw may have been overplaying the "Bucks knew something was up" angle. We all seen the preseason rapings at their hands.

So, is jimmy going to be on the bench supporting the team or is he going to stand behind the blazers bench and towel wave for them. Thats assuming he even wants to show up to the arena.

I wasn't aware of that incident. Jimmy has definitely been a jackass I wont defend that. I do think people assume everything he does now is to mock the team and maybe a lot of it is. Either way, his actions have lost him the benefit of doubt with most fans and thats totally fair.

I am annoyed that the media barely calls him out. ESPN in particular is very slanted towards his side and casual fans love making fun of Wiggins and KAT. I like that Bill Simmons has pretty much called Jimmy out repeatedly, Chris Webber has also shown some distaste, wish more would speak up.

Butler out tonight. What a pussy! Just a talker.

It wouldn't hurt him to play limited minutes off the bench.

I'm calling it now this is gonna be another great team game with tons of highlight reel level plays. Gotta love General Soreness for sitting this one out in order to let the people that want to be here shine.
