Not much choice unfortunately. We weren't that deep of a team to begin with, and now we've got the injury bug on top of it.
It's a fairly deep team. Been playing two to three starters down almost entire season. Still no worse then a typical Love Rubio team. 6th man Rose is out a couple every other day. Teague and Rose out a lot. Wiggins missing a ton in 2019 jus collecting checks. Roco gone all season. Tyus was mia for a while. Deng went down with Achilles. Who did I miss?
Kind of curious what a 'typical Love Rubio' team was. 11-12 team was 21-19 when Ricky tore his ACL. 12-13 Ricky and Love played a total of 29 minutes together (ACL recovery and Love knuckle pushups). So I guess the 13-14 team where the starters had a +12.3 net rating (a full 5 points better than last year's starting lineup net rating of +7.3) and a truly atrocious bench.
Frankly I don't give a * about those years and I'm glad they are long gone. Rotten basketball in my book. We ran everything through Love and that's all it was. Just like tonight running everything through Towns. That's all there is this way. At least Towns is shooting 54% doing it. Can't say that about Love.
These Players only guys just spoke about that difference with Minnesota and Denver. It's true. Diop and Saric should both have 7 attempts from 3 by now. They each have 2 shots. They could work on this. But I realize it's all just a mess, look at the lineup. Nobody knows each other.
