I haven't checked the stats, but I bet if we were rebounding the ball well we would be way ahead.

Bayless trying to win the game for his old team, I see. Why is he out there?

Wolves crunch time execution is awful. I get why Saunders only trusted Rose isos lol

Curry and Warriors whining about the referee's the other night. I thought the ref was right on the Durant shot. We are the Timberwolves, when we win the other team whines. Curry made some crazy good shots. This has been one of the worst seasons in Timberwolves history, and Curry has to put some nails in the outhouse. Nuts.

Imagine where we would be with Butler, we probably would be a 7 or 8 seed, and get our butts kicked in the first round. As a long time Wolf fan, I just hate playing basketball for lottery positioning, and i really dont remember a time when the outlook for the next four years was this bleak. Maybe they can buyout Wiggins contract and save a few bucks. Taylor is just going to have to suck it up, there is no other option.

Just a few years ago, the Wolves were in great shape to becoming an NBA contender, and almost everything that could have went wrong did. Interestingly Ricky Rubio is playing on a perenial NBA playoff team.

Looks like Jimmy Butler was right this is a team made up of mental midgets in Minnesota.

47 wins with Jimmy Butler probably 35 wins without that's all that needs to be said.

Beating the 6ers is todays mission. Then we move on to beating the next team.

Let’s cut it out with the true fan bit.

GreatRC said the true fan wants us to lose every game. I defended my side.

You know what, i've been on this site since 06 and I wrote something else, but it's not even worth my time to go back and forth with someone that twists words. so i'll keep being the fake fan that I am and hope we improve this team with a better draft pick

Hope you guys somehow win the lottery. You need a player with 2 way star potential. Otherwise this might be the Kevin Love era all over again with KAT. Unless Wiggins wakes up eventually.

Wolves should have put KAT on Ben. That should allow KAT to stay in the paint and make-up for any blunders Dario and Wiggins do on defense.

That’s the biggest mistake.

KAT on Bolden, then Ben and Tobias getting past Wiggins and Dario with KAT needed to help and leave Bolden is a nightmare.

One of those things an inexperienced coach would never thought off coming from a grind out game last night
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

GreatRC I know you are a good fan of the Wolves. I didn't quote you exactly. I sincerely apologize for any and all word twisting.

Here is exactly what you wrote

" the true fan in me hopes we don't win another game to close out this season so we can get the highest pick possible. We're too close to the Lakers and Pelicans to not try and get at least the #9 pick"

The Lakers are intentionally losing games by sitting out LeBron and the Pelicans are intentionally losing games by limiting Davis or not playing him at all so they are making an effort to do what you suggest we do.

It's your choice of words "the true fan" that bothered me. I would love to have the #1 pick, but not at the price of losing every game we play for a better shot at it. I don't approve of tanking under any circumstances and I have been a fan of the Wolves since season one. I believe our tanking over the course of our history has only been a game here and a game there. There is a big difference between situational tanking vs premeditated tanking like the sixers did for three entire seasons in a row. To be honest if it came down to our last game of the season and winning would get us the 14th pick and losing would get us the first I would probably be happier if we lose, but hopefully not intentionally.
