I don't think it's any secret, it's a pretty basic jump to make that they need a PG, DLo is buds with Booker, and they just traded out of Garland or White and traded Warren for cap space

Russell became a decent defender in Brooklyn, he's not a shutdown guy but he's not Booker

It is a gamble for sure but worst case for the Suns they shored up the PF position with some one who can give Ayton room in the post and have enough cap space to bring in some vets on short deals to try to bring in a big fish in a different off season

Because Saric is a good bonus for trading down from 6-11. Also rumor has it they want Clarke anyway so if they can get both Clarke and Saric it's better than just Clarke.
