Garland? Cavs front office was just hitting up voters to get them to make Sexton 1st team All Rookie.
Smokescreen?

Hell yeah ! Saric was so overrated, he's not a player at all. I think the Cavs trade out, they need a slew of new players and probably take a package from the Celtics. The Celtics take Garland and we get White.

I'm disappointed. Saric too much to give up for that little move up. It will probably be white. He better be the real deal.

I would give something small to move from 6 to 5. I think there is a significant drop off from Garland to White.
That said, I didn’t think Saric was worth what he’s going to demand next offseason, so using him to move up for White or Sekou (probably White) was well worth it.

It looks to be Garland or White but I wouldn't rule out Doumbouya

Moving up from 11 to 6 is probably the equivalent of a late lottery pick.

If Cavs take Garland, wouldn't Culver be a better pick than Coby White?

If we move up to 6 and draft Clarke, I will be demoralised.

Coby white is the pick. The writing is all over the wall and he will be a perfect fit

Re: Timberwolves Acquire 6th Pick!!!
The Cavs reportedly intend to draft Vanderbilt PG Darius Garland at No. 5, but they are "still entertaining offers" for the pick.
The interest in Garland comes from reputable sources Marc Stein and Chris Haynes, and it sounds like the first five picks in the draft might be set -- Zion Williamson, Ja Morant, RJ Barrett, De'Andre Hunter and Garland. That could change if Cleveland flips their pick, but either way it won't take long for official picks to start rolling in.

Re: Timberwolves Acquire 6th Pick!!!
I haven't paid attention to anyone in the draft...why does everyone want Garland, though?
2.6 assists per game from a 6-2 PG. Not exactly what I would be hoping for with the #6 pick...
IMO Culver seems the best prospect. We should hope he is there at #6.

Re: Timberwolves Acquire 6th Pick!!!
We just ensured we can get either Garland or White while only sacrificing Saric. Major win!

No way Cleveland takes Garland with Sexton in the backcourt already. They would be too small. This is a smart move that gets us Garland at #6 unless someone jumps into CLE’s spot ahead of us. Defensively Saric does not punch all the buttons and his contract with put too much pressure on us in two years. This was a good move in my opinion capitalizing on his late season production that raised his value.
