Been doing these threads for almost a decade, but not sure I've ever seen such a sharp change in the average age. I know the roster isn't complete, but wanted to get the list posted while I was thinking about it.

Don't forget about Noah Vonleh. He's 23 - August 24th, 1995.

Thanks! Took list that hadn't been updated since Bell. Remembered Layman, but not Vonleh.

Interesting post. We are definitely getting younger. I'm sure somebody will use this as ammunition to say now we need to get rid of Teague, Dieng, and Covington. Of course once they're gone our oldest players will be Napier, Graham and Layman so we'll have to get rid of them also. Then Bell, Wiggins and Towns. That should do it. Then we will be young enough.

Sorry to turn this simple post about the ages which is great into a negative rant. I just see those things coming.

I feel old, this is the first time where all the people on the team and arrivals are ALL younger than me

So our Wolves are going to be young and dumb again.

I swear. I really enjoyed Rose and Luol Deng minutes. If only we could have kept them. Comparing to the slop of everyone else...night and day.
Bayless was garbage in the moronic two PG rotations so often used, yet sometimes a wizard shooting 3s when he was the only PG on the court.
Reynolds looked pure solid in the minimal chances he got. I mean again, compared to the rest of our clusterfs.
Gibson/Saric. These guys just knew what they were doing.

You can't put a price on the BBIQ these players had already earned with time served and showed here. We find out right away without them that BBIQ doesn't come freely for all of them. Sometimes it just takes years of playing. So in other words I'm not really a fan of a blanket youth movement. The team needs a few wiser players around. Someone was talking about Iggy. He would bring that. Of course we have this overly thick caravan of questionmark wings already.
