what do you guys think?

wow ... Our saving grace may be the idea we can ride the DLo/KAT show and kinda figure the rest out on the fly.

Do we know if Turner is still rumored to be bought out? Can James Johnson fill out the SF spot until Layman returns?

My best guess at the rotation (I think we keep Turner):

Russell/Turner/McLaughlin*
Beasley/Okogie/Evans/Nowell*
Culver/Crabbe/Martin*
Johnson/Layman/Hernangomez/Vanderbilt*
Towns/Reid/Spellman

* G-League

Well we can all put to rest the Culver at PG idea.

Russell/McLaughlin
Beasley/Okogie/Evans/Nowell
Culver/Turner/Crabbe/Martin/Layman
Johnson/Spellman/Hernangomez
Towns/Reid

Really like the roster as is and if week keep most after the season.Really just need and upgrade now at our starting PF spot via the draft and with someone we can sign in free agency and then a back up PG who's hopefully more of a scorer i.e. should have kept Rose.

Evans,Hernangomez,Okogie,McLaughlin,Spellman & Reid is a really interesting bench with a ton of youth and upside.The only guy again if we keep most of this bench going froward that really makes anytype of money is Layman.

Seems like the closest to plausible positions in a position less NBA

Why do you hate Okogie?

Because he can't play basketball right.

I'd go with;

Russell
Beasley
Culver
Johnson
KAT

as the starters with Okogie and Juancho as the main guys off the bench. If they keep Turner he can run point when Russell sits otherwise I guess it's McLaughlin and Spellman can spell (eh? EH?) Towns. Sprinkle in whatever else you want/need.

Before the trade, i heard a story on the radio that Warriors had people watching him that game and came away openly unimpressed. To my surpirse, the trade happens.

I like your plan on the 5 sarters.

What is Okogie for off the bench though?

Spellman is a second year PF at 6-8. Why is he spelling KAT? So we can go smaller yet at Center?

Anyone check Spellman's 3pt% this year yet? .391

Russell is really going to help guys like Okogie and Layman.

I do like the idea of Turner off the bench for an extra guy who can dribble.

We jsut traded everyone that had tradeable value outside of KAT. The reason we still have Okogie is because nobody wanted his mess. Can everyone please let that sink in.

I thought Spellman was a C and he probably is one for us either way, so that's why. Also that 3pt% is why I preferred him there. He can keep the floor spacing we might otherwise lose when Towns sat.

Okogie is the defensive specialist who could guard 1-3 and bring energy. Having him off the bench means you can adjust his playing time depending on how he's doing on any given night.

If only any Minnesota coach could understand such a statement.
