For the Anfernee Simons fans, Lillard and CJ are taking the night off so it's all on Simon's shoulders against some scrub foreign team. Solid first half with 11 points on 4-6 with a 3 and 2 for 2 FTs. 2 Boards 3 asssits. No steals, blocks or TOs.

It happened to me to watch Doncic&Porzingis highlights after MIN vs GSW it just another universe. These two guys are special. Especially in two areas that we struggle: decision making and shooting.

I didn't watch tonight, but Zion 26 points so far in 22 minutes 9/12 from the field with a 3 and 7/9 from the line. As stated those picking anybody else for RoY are going to look foolish.

Congratulations to the New Orleans Pelicans who may get the record for fasted franchise rebuild ever. Zion continues to impress and I think Alexander Walker will be a damn King. Team Canada has to do everything in its power to get him to play for them from here on out.

I really hope Zinger comes back strong from his injury woes and so far so good. Doncic I believe had a very good game shooting from both the field and the line. If he can shoot straight the sky is the only limit for him.

NBA is in a pretty cool place right now. So many young rebuilding teams have promising budding stars. We are really starting to see the next generation of stars and names come into focus. The Lebron, Harden, Westbrook, Griffin, Carmelo, etc era of players will be fading away over the next 5 years and these young bucks will be taking their place.

Really a crucial time to get your young teams on the path of contention because there will be new NBA pillars of excellence in the near future and you want your team to be one of them.

Maybe the suns knew what they were doing when they drafted Cameron Johnson.

Incredible shooting game yesterday. In 27 minutes 6-9, 4-6 3s, 2-2 FTs, 2 boards,1 assist and 1TO. Jedzz going to see this and wish we had of kept Saric and drafted Johnson. On the other hand only 2 boards, 1 assist no steals or blocks.

Who was proposing the Wolves go after this guy?

Tacko Fall
C, Boston Celtics

Tacko Fall has agreed to a two-way contract with the Celtics.
This was expected to happen after the team converted Max Strus to a full NBA contract just a few hours ago. Fall is already a fan favorite in Boston, but he has a long way to go before he's a playable NBA-caliber player. The Celtics do have a whole at center, though, so who knows. He's not on the fantasy radar just yet.

How bad is Cleveland going to be? Losing to Boston 63-28 early in the third.

Is Garland playing? I want to get a good look at him. Love needs to come back home.

Garland has barely played being dinged up all preseason. I'd like Love back, but really doubt it's going to happen.

Yeah, but for teams like us (Wolves) we seem to be stuck on the outside looking in. I just hope KAT doesn't look around a think he's being passed by and starts to want out.

This year will be interesting to see how these older players teaming up will mesh. I agree the NBA is in a prime spot for making money now and future.
Oh yeah, next five years the torch will be passed, but Melo is done now.

He hasn't played a regular season minute, but I think there is enough evidence from SL and PreSeason to indicate he would have been a very nice pick for the Wolves at 11. The haters were downright nasty about him acting like he couldn't rebound or play inside at his height and how his inability to shoot the 3 was going to make him a massive liability. There's another rookie that fits that definition very well. Zion Williamson. He's doing ok too.

The Cavs are so bad. Boston not playing their top 6 tonight and still beating them by 20 late in the third.

Carsen Edwards with 30 points tonight. 10-16, 9-15 from 3, and 1 FT. 9 3s. Is he another Curry?
* It was against Cleveland so doesn't really count.

I really wonder about Zion's impact over the course of the season. Will it be as big as his hype in any shape or form? I'm just not sold. But there is certainly another opening in this league for a net centric strong finisher. Being that he can and will hit 3s when forced to I think he survives and produces enough at minimum. He can be limited by some of NBAs bigs. Won't be the Wolves though.
