We signed him in my 2K20 My career season 2 and I had no idea he was so awesome. He is really good player with our roster, I was shocked when he was hitting three's didn't know he had that stroke.

He should have been ours a couple years ago. You can go back and read all the posts I made about signing him.

Those are the type of players we need to go after with whatever money we have to spend in FA. Hindsight is 20/20 but at least go after those types of players who haven't gotten opportunities with fit/minutes or needed a change of scenery.

I get that the NBA has shifted away from respecting big men. But I will always give a mobile, athletic big a chance if I can. If I knew about Wood I probably would have given him a look. I still remember the draft where I was begging the wolves to take Deandre Jordan and they kept passing on him. I thought he had big bust potential but I still wanted to take a chance.

I true sized big who can run and get up is a great canvas to work from.

I'm sticking my neck out on this prediction, but Thibs is a proven solid NBA coach. Saunders got his job based on nepotism and has none of the qualifications that should be expected from an NBA HC. Time will tell. I'm 99% certain that Saunders will be fired within the next 5 years. It's just a question of how long we drag it out.

Being a joke is a far cry from being relevant and in the playoffs. I would take it.
I would rather have a team full of believers, a core with playoff experience, and preparing for the moment the right move or the stars align and gets them over the edge.

If he can get them to a .500 record within the next 3 seasons that would be a massive turnaround and in the east they might even make the playoffs.

Not in the slightest. The only problem ever with Thibs is Butler going psycho. Trading for him was a good move and when we did trade him away we got very solid value. Thibs knows what he is doing both as a GM and as a coach. Saunders has no ability to coach an NBA team at all and most likely never will.
