I don’t think it’s a coincidence when Anthony Towns came back , the bad defense started up again. I’m not sure if he doesn’t understand the value of D, or he just doesn’t care?

Maybe he believes 6’11” is defense ?? Seriously he does not anticipate well by nature, and as a result, is a very reactive defender - he can seem awkward physically when someone has body on him because he don't know how use hips or leverage lower body.

If teams wanna grind on him he becomes a mental midget, therefore, he tends to shy from that and dilly dally around to avoid getting engaged.
