Wouldn’t look good for DLo to be subbed out late in the game for Okogie defense ... obviously we all hope he chooses to be a respectable defender on his own

So, you have hope for DLO’s defense in the future now?

Not really. I think Lillard really committed to defense, which I don’t know if Vanterpool can pull out of Russell.

But the bigger issue is that Russell is just so unathletic. I’m not sure he can become even an average defender, even if he tried.

I hope I’m wrong. I really do - I want to see this team succeed. But I think Russell will always be a defensive sieve. I’d assign Vanterpool to Russell immediately — “meet-him-at-the-plane”-level immediately.
