Continuation of the season but it feels like a new season. The Nets are already off to a great start to keeping their pick getting destroyed by the Magic.

I am very concerned about Grant very low rebounding number. Crowder is a very streaky shooter...

I feel like Crowder shoots better when his team really needs a spark. I've always seemed to notice him in those moments of games.Maybe one day I'll check splits.

Looking like they have really pushed the VR games right now as it seems there is a game almost every day. That's pretty cool, def a fun way to watch games.
Really, I'm not sure if it would show in splits say when the team is > or < 5 difference or anything, but when an opponent goes on a run against his team he's usually the one I see with instant back to back 3s to stop their run and gain chunks back quickly, then usually a high motor play defensively as well. Just going off memory it seems like the only time I really notice him in games.minimus wrote:Jedzz wrote:minimus wrote:

Well, he has been bad in playoffs. When his team really needed a spark.

I see your point. Could Wolves possibly get him cheap enough?minimus wrote:Jedzz wrote:Really, I'm not sure if it would show in splits say when the team is > or < 5 difference or anything, but when an opponent goes on a run against his team he's usually the one I see with instant back to back 3s to stop their run and gain chunks back quickly, then usually a high motor play defensively as well. Adding context, right now he is playing for his last big contract. His current contract was considered as bargain at the time when Ainge signed him, but honestly Crowder has not outplayed his contract. I wonder how much he will get this off-season, because I like his fit in MIN as we need big, experienced wing.

But I've said it before when it comes to him years ago now. I was hoping they would have added him years ago as he's been available and bouncing around the league even though he's a good player. This spring a few of us were discussing him and someone brought up a drop in numbers. I hadn't looked then but you are saying now he hasn't matched his current deal. I'm concerned now that this team missed his prime usefullness and it might be like getting the last leg of Kevin Martin type of deal. Maybe too late? I'm not so sure. Aside from a big drop playing for Memphis, he's now with Miami and over the last 14 games and he's had maybe his best shooting run he's ever had across the board. But like Covington and Saric joining the team here it always could be a honeymoon. It also could be team fit in Miami as they have a really nice roster right now. Maybe things are just clicking for them?

Love him or hate him - LeVert brought home the win for the Wolves, er, Nets.
