If I think about PF, who can potentially blossom next to KAT, DLo and Rubio, then the first candidate would be Christian Wood. He is not a good passer, but he might excel as a finisher.



Unfortunately, he is UFA and more likely will end up in NY

1) trade Spellman and Evans for nothing
2) sign defensive-minded 3rd string С such as Kenny Wooten

3) resign Beasley, Jmac, Juancho and Martin

ya it sure cuts down the options, but I imagine we'll add a veteran role player (MLE, Vet Min, Small Trade) ... Slim McDaniels is more likely gonna go to the D-League

I think this is good news for a couple reason. 1. Right now his trade value is at an all time low. 2. His shooting is really hard to find in the league right now. Teams aren't willing to give up 3-d guys. 3. We need his toughness on our team right now. From the small sample size I saw last year really liked his game.

Would love to see the 5 on 5 practices with DLo/Edwards vs Rubio/Beasley.

I'd imagine AB would go either to a contender or warm weather city, or maybe the most money. In other words I doubt Wolves are on his radar. Unless he's dying to play with Rubio again.

I agree he will be harder to get but is still my #1 option right now in FA. I just think he fits so well and is the type of glue guy our star's need to help shine. Him and Rubio running a second unit with a mix of Culver/Edwards/Beasley/? would be an ideal fit.

I don't think it's possible money-wise, but if we were able to have the following 10 man rotation we'd honestly have a chance to be like a top 4 seed.

IMO the return was great. Rubio is VERY good.

What would it take to get Domantas Sabonis. He would be the type of guy I would love to add to our roster. If they trade Victor or Turner that might single a rebuild in which we should try to pry this guy away.

With KAT? Really?

Jedzz probably has the best point, we need to keep building and developing our own as a foundation unless or until big game is realistically available. Resign Beasley and Juancho, and look at a vet..I like Mo Harkless for the 3. If something interesting comes along for a pf then take it.

The depth chart should look like this

Russell, Rubio, JMac, Haggins
Edwards, Beasley, Culver, Okoge, Nowell
Harkless, Layman, Martin
Hernangomez, Vanderbilt, McDaniels
Towns, Reid, Spellman

Honestly one of the SGs is going to go, just might not be for a player, could be a draft pick. Either way, that second unit could put up serious points A veteran backup big C would probably be next on my list.

Sac out: Parker and Woodard II
Sac in: Culver, Spellman, and Nowell

Mn out: Culver, Nowell, Spellman
In: Parker, Woodard II

Sacramento gets a young 2 guard to pair with Fox for when they trade Buddy and some young pieces.

Wolves get a starting 4, that's skill set would fit nicely, and is in the right age range.

This would still allow us to resign Beasley and Juancho, and a vet like Harkless, maybe a WCS also

I can't see that happening.

He's searching for two things... he may renounce one of them to some extent provided you give him the other but by no means he'll give both up.

1) To be PAID.

2) Be a starter, or at least a 6th man with gallons and command in a competetive team.


Can we offer him at least one of those?
