Spurs get Tre Jones. Good landing spot for him.

Still laugh when the Heat didn't want to trade him for Butler. You make that trade every day, twice on Sunday.
Wait. Who won this trade? Has to be Dallas right?

Easy...
Don't see him as a backup PG, he's not.
I definitely think Rubio will start. I could see Edwards playing some SF. Whether he starts that depends on what else Rosas does.
Russell played well when paired with another ball handler while in NJ. That’s why I thought Ball would be a good offensive fit.

He might.. his NBA buy out is 900k, so if he's wanted now, there shouldn't be a problem.
NBA teams can pay up to 750k.

If this season goes poorly, I would expect the entire front office and coaching staff to be gone. New owners usually want to bring in their own guys.
Juancho can kinda shoot. Naz too.
I wouldn’t mind trying to find a way to add Bjelica but I’m not sure how tbh.

It depends on how he plays. Hopefully he earns a starting wing spot.

I honestly think Aaron Gordon would thrive here with Ricky and Dlo.

I wanted Rubio before it happend.
Yes, i hope he starts with Dlo off the ball, that's the ideal scenario.
Kinda like Rubio - Booker or Rubio - Mitchell.
Idk about Edwards thought. Can he play as SF?

Yep Dlo to sg, edwards to three.
Edwards would be too small to play the 3

Re: NBA Draft Day Thread
I do wonder what Towns/Dlo think of the choices. Towns was not a Rubio proponent back in the day. Maybe he changed his mind after the Butler era.
But I do think they were hoping the team would go after Simmons or Booker of course, or someone win nowish instead of using the #1 on a rook.

small small ball
They have used 6'4 Okogie and 6'5 Culver there. BTW, those two guys just bench players now?

I was under the impression KAT and Rubio got along. Maybe I’m wrong..
