We desperately need forwards and shooting and we’re trading for Rubio. Ugh.

Give me Oubre or Gallo please.

Would have to be Johnson's expiring going back out.
There are so many players I like in the 17 range that aren't going to be there at 28.

Pass on Wiseman due to fit and then trade for Rubio?
Writing on the wall Beasley not back?

Would love Ricky back on this squad,He's probably the most loved Wolf of all time right behind KG for the majority of the fan base.Would make for a really good back up PG or even starting moving D'Lo over to SG and then having Edwards coming off the bench.

This is the dumbest thing we could ever do. Rubio is a 17 million dollar backup PG who happens to lack a shot from any range. Only the wolves could do something this stupid and try to sell it with a smile.

So what is the final trade? Ricky, 25 and 27 for 17 and JJ?

Love it.

Rubio can play with both Russell and Edwards.

I’m back off my death bed.

They must really love two guys in the mid twenties.

There has to be more to this... because why would even consider this until you know who is or isn't on the board at 17? Why add another guard? There is definitely more brewing if this trade happens.

I understand the folks who are saying we need forwards and shooting.....but we also need passing, defense, and leadership, and Ricky brings all those things to the team. If you're worries about Edwards needing heart, there's probably not a better role model available.

And all it cost us was moving 8 spots down in the draft, in a draft where the low first round guys aren't that far off from the higher first round guys.

Well, that and $17 million, but if Glen wants to spend it, there are worse things he could buy.

And we got another pick too!

And We don’t have to listen to any more Aaron Gordon posts! Win-win!

Incidentally, adding Rubio makes it even more important our PF can shoot three’s.

I don't want to part with Beasley's shooting at all.

We have two guys making max deals that should be providing leadership. That's a weak ass argument. Passing? Sure. Defense? Ok. Why not pick that in someone at 17 who has potential to be even more? Ricky better be coming here as the backup guard, not starting PG.
