Just seems like this KAT & Russell pairing is cursed.They've played like five games together.Not a huge fan of either at this point but sucky that we might never truly get to see what those two could do together for a full season(honestly think even if both where healthy and everything went 100% right at best our ceiling would be a bottom tier playoff team that is a fist round and out)

Hard to believe anything from this organization at times... As if this couldn’t have been done two weeks ago or more. Back in time for the trade deadline it seems? Who knows

My only guess is that the lottery is rigged, and Rosas didn’t destroy his embarrassing pictures of Adam Silver, like he promised last year when he gave us the #1 pick?

Sure it could've. But rest also could've helped whatever he's dealing with by now too. Surgery is rarely a first option.

Hey, at least the starting lineup barring any other injuries would be able to run consistently now. Hoping Rubio can uncork and orchestrate an 8 game winning streak like he did for Phoenix in the bubble.

Curse franchise. I swear, we are going to get a total of like 15 games with KAT, Dlo, and Beasley if we are lucky this season. Not bad for Rosas cause now he has a couple of buffers if we are still horribly by season end. He can blame Saunders and fire him, giving himself more breathing room and he can point to not having his big three all season.

The only good thing about this is all the Rubio die hard who think he's the answer are going to get 20-30 games to see if Rubio really can lead this team somewhere. If you love Rubio you are going to get as much Rubio as you can handle.

They better convert Jmac's deal ASAP, we cant have him missing games to save that contract now.

This feels like one of these injuries timberwolves players would have. Like Rubio's anklesprain of hell, RoCos injury that kept him out forever etc.

Classic ... The bright spot is that if we get a little run, this could be the pathway for DLo coming off the bench as the sixth man. He can still play with KAT and even close out games if he gets his sh!7 together.

People don't totally get it. There were two variables for the recent stretch of competency:
One was Dlo going down, the other one was KAT coming back.

People who don't like Dlo will say he is the problem.

But if that was really the problem, why Ricky starting in the 6 games Dlo didn't had -21.6 net rating (Dlo was -14.5) without KAT vs -0.7 he has in the 5 games since KAT cameback (vs Lakers, Clippers, Pacers, Raptors and Hornets)?

Dlo haters are going to hate on Dlo, it’s what they do. The reality is hero ball is always a bad idea. Chucking is also a universally bad idea (though people seem fine when Ant does it, yet criticize Dlo for doing it.) A good coach and offensive scheme that keeps the ball moving will fix Dlo’s issues. Having KAT on the floor will also take a lot of pressure off the other shooters including Dlo and Beasley which allows for easier ball movement and better shots. Dlo being out is never a plus, it is a massive minus. We are starved for impact players who can score. We celebrate Ant and MCD for becoming more reliable, we need Dlo because he is reliable. Is he perfect, of course not. Can his game be fixed, of course it can. Dlo is no worse than D Rose and D Rose got better after he left.

Some people are still so attached to Rubio from his first stint. They remember how the team struggled after March 9 of the 2011-12 season and attribute it almost entirely to Rubio going down. What even I forgot about the final 25 games of the season was that just four games after Rubio went down, there was a stretch where Pekovic missed 8 of 9 games. Five games after Pekovic returned, Love went out for the final 7 games of the season. So not only was Rubio out, but so was another major contributor in 15 of the 25 games in that stretch.
