So nothing about keeping the team in Minnesota? If the team moves then it’s for the best, sorry to loyal Minnesota fans.

It doesn't help when his financial advisor fleeced him for a reported 70 million.

All I care about is it going to someone who will keep it here. Growing increasingly worried they will move the team because of the horrible history.

Isn't that like the point of becoming a financial adviser?

Look into my eyes. See, you are getting sleepy, your eyes are heavy.

When I count to three and snap my fingers you will wake up and you will not wonder where your money went. You will know in your bones that it went to its rightful place and that will make you happy. 1...2...

It could never happen that an owner would bring in a GM with instructions, “Make this team so disappointing, that people won’t care if I move it” right? That can’t happen?

The steps leading up to every team move. Reading twitter lately and all these self proclaimed greatest timberwolves fans crying about their incredible need for Taylor to finally sell now and how they don't even care anymore if that means a team move now. Ploy accepted.

I don't think that happened. In fact, I think Taylor agreed to the Russell trade and the tax payment to add some juice to the team.

A year later, I think Taylor gives in and takes the best deal and Minnesota moves. The new buyer, who wants to move the team to Vegas, agrees to also buy the Lynx and agrees to leave the Lynx in Minnesota as a compromise (not much of one since the Aces are already in Vegas), but and 1.8-2 billion will be enough to get Taylor to sign off.

I can be pretty cynical about these things but don’t thing that happened here. I just think Taylor and Rosas are that inept.

It really wouldn't make sense unless Taylor was moving the team but keeping it and Rosas. It doesn't make any sense that Rosas would willingly destroy his own reputation and then be forced to look for a new job after the new owner fired him.

It is a sad state of affairs that we’re so bad, my green-fronted joke can be taken seriously.

Isn't that the plot to Major League?

We all know what your green means and how you meant it. It's just worthy of talking about since it is such a sad state of affairs it fits.

Except in this version the players are all for getting out of Minnesota.
