Jarrett Culver absolutely needs to play on the summer league team as well (assuming he's still on the roster after tomorrow).
I wish Bolmoro could play too but we still get to see him in Tokyo. Hopefully his coach stops being stubborn and let's him play more.

Re: Summer League/Jam Session
If they want to increase Nowell's role then something has to give. If you assume he can play 1-3, depending on matchups, then it means he's competing with Russell, Edwards and Beasley at minimum, with Okogie, Culver and Bolmaro needing minutes at the 2/3 spots and Rubio needing minutes at the 1.
Maybe I'm reading too much into it but I'm starting to expect a significant overhaul of at least our bench and possibly the starters too.

Needing isn't the right word. Those three don't need minutes, they will have to earn their minutes.
And I think most have expected that there will have to be a trade of at least one of Rubio or Beasley. That hasn't changed.

They "need" minutes to develop. There's no point to bringing Bolmaro over if he's going to spend the first year warming the bench, he might as well stay overseas and get some actual time. And if there's a way to get Culver's value any lower having him spend the season on the bench is the way to do it.

Culver is a lost cause. I'd all but guarantee that if he's still on the roster by then, his 2021-22 team option will be declined, so his trade value will be more as an expiring contract and a gamble than anything.
I think Bolmaro can earn time, but I'm not giving it to him right away without having to earn it.
I wouldn't rule out Iowa stints for either.

Re: Summer League/Jam Session
Aside from 30% 3pt shooter McKinley Wright, any other rookies being brought in yet?

Don't let the 30 percent get you down. Wright has a great handle and rarely had issues getting to his spot in the midrange. Most of his threes were when he was open and he made them or they were late clock contested shots that he missed. He's got a great shot and is a solid free throw shooter. He will be a decent three-point shooter as a pro.

I hope Culver ends up playing in Summer League. I would guess that a good showing would do more for him than pretty much anybody else in the league.

Guess this belongs here - Knight is a 6'10, 250 lb PF/C who played for the Hawks last year

Re: Summer League/Jam Session
WTF? Okogie already left Japan, came to Minnesota, and is playing games in another league? LMAO. Strong Trenton Hassell vibes.
