I'm guessing this takes the Wolves out of the running for any major trade, at least until Prince's salary can be aggregated.

First thoughts - solid deal! Pat Bev plays dirty for sure, but he definitely sets a tone on defense that we didn't really have. Obviously he has a ton of playoff experience so fills that veteran void left by Ricky. He's also become a very solid shooter from distance as well. We also free up a roster spot to use.

I don’t know how I feel about this. It helps Rosas hide the mistake he made drafting Culver. I think I’d rather hope for the slim chance of upside, than have a 33 year old, $14 mil back up PG. He can shoot three’s, but I doubt he’s the defender he once was. Rubio provided a lot of value off the court and as a leader - Bev will need to do the same to justify that contract, because he can’t reach that number on production alone.

Pretty sure this only uses up one million, given that Culver + Juancho equals $13.3

Juancho was non-guaranteed next year, so all the players in the deal are expirings (assuming nobody was going to pick up Culver’s team option).
