Has anybody found what GoBear has to say about being traded. I looked for some youtubes, but no luck.

Utah is blowing things up. No way I see Bev playing there unless there's some rule they can't trade him again.

Wouldn't it be great getting Bev, back but he's got this contract we now can't afford to take on. If he's bought out does the contract go away? Even if it does he would still get $10 million or more from somebody.

I would tell Bev that going forward he will always have a roster spot in Minnesota. Maybe not more than vet minimum, but a spot. To sweeten the pot we can get him a lifetime supply of Bev light. The cans can have his slogans on them. One says bring they *** home. Another says, time to take another team to the playoffs, ect…

Bev is like the ultimate player coach and culture setter. His value extends beyond the court. That said, I don’t think we can get him back this year even in buyout and I have higher hopes for our free roster spot in the buyout market.

I’m going to miss that guy.

Glad he said that too, because other players hear this, and it may help change their opinion about our franchise.

Quick favor to ask of the group. A guy on Canis asked me to link him to our source on Wolves FO being unhappy with Bev over his offseason antics. I remember seeing it on Twitter and hearing it somewhere (I think on a pod but I cannot remember when or which one.) I know it has been mentioned here as well, can anyone refresh my memory?

Couldn't find the former Wolves thread, so:

Standing up for his teammate. And that's why I miss Pat Bev.

My hope is that once the Lakers realize they cannot make the playoffs they agree to buyout Beverly. His trade value probably isn’t high given his shooting woes this season. Then we can swoop in and sign him to a vet minimum. Dumping/trading Forbes, Rivers, and Knight along the way. This allows us to sign PJ Dozier, Pat Beverly, and have a roster spot open for the deadline.

Nowell is one of the few off the dribble bucket getters on this team.

It might end up being Rivers or Knight

I think I'd rather have rivers then nowell. And it has to be a guard leaving. There's not enough minutes for all of them

Keep in mind, don't necessarily need as many bigs/forwards.

Towns/Gobert/Reid take all C minutes and some PF minutes. Still leaves 6 roster spots. SF and some of PF taken by McDaniels, Anderson, Prince plus young guys Minott, Moore and NAW.

Conflicting reports regarding Bev. NBCSPORTSEDGE put this Dane Moore report up.

According to Dane Moore, Patrick Beverley is expected to reunite with the Timberwolves after he secured a buyout from the Magic.
Beverley is headed to Orlando in exchange for Mo Bamba, and his timeline clearly doesn't mesh with that of the Magic. The expectation is that he'll agree to a buyout, opening the door for a return to Minnesota. The Timberwolves acquired Mike Conley on Wednesday, but there's definitely room for Beverley to help out a team that has sorely missed him after last season's run to the playoffs.
