I don’t get the Ball hate. Ball and Edwards are two of the most fun players to enter the league in awhile. I think both will have several all-star appearances. Wiseman on the other hand, not good.

Ant has better stats and gets zero of the hype Lamelo gets it’s annoying and don’t tell me Charlotte is bigger media market.

Kinda deserves to be at this point. He should ask for reassignment to the G and try to show enough flashes of talent to get the Griz to accept a second round pick to a team that will use him. He might also end up in Europe and rebuild his brand in a weaker league.

So I was looking into Favors as part of a trade discussion in a different thread and I found something I wanted to share. This is an opinion piece, but it really does tell the story of the imbalance in the age of super tax teams (F*** GSW and the Nets all the way to he** for that one.) Check out the analysis for the Jazz, also note this is not the first or last place you will see this opinion, but I thought they worded it well. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2946559-grading-the-biggest-trades-from-wild-nba-draft-day

ESPN Power rankings we only went from 22-20 being undefeated while no other undefeated team is lower than 16 lol. Wizards jumped 5 spots.

https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/32445694/nba-power-rankings-week-2-where-do-lakers-stand-slow-start-season

Sports Illustrated has us at 14

https://www.si.com/nba/2021/10/25/nba-power-rankings-first-impressions-lakers-warriors-nuggets

We have the best defense in the league right now and 5th best net rating. Bad news, is our offense is among the poorest but that is very likely to change. I don't expect our defense to remain at number 1 but if we can be top 12 I think thats' enough to push of into playoff contention.

Demar DeRozan has been killing it in a Bulls jersey. People thought he was washed up.

Can you imagine if we won a top 3 spot with that last pick and drafted Mobley? Man of man.

I think Grizzlies of last season with JV are a better team than their current version with Adams.

I'll take Adams or Clarke off their hands lol.

I am not a big fan of Adams tbh..he is just too limited offensively.

It's an extremely small sample size, but I find it very interesting that PHI, BKN, BOS, LAL, LAC and PHO are a combined 10-17 to start the season. This makes me feel all warm inside. :)

Detriot really should have sold high on Jerami Grant when they had the chance.

He's great, reminds me of a bigger Draymond on D, always making right decision, hyper aware

Kemba looking good for a salary dump/waived player, chance he'll be one of the top FA signings, like D Rose was with Wolves a couple seasons ago

Jalen Green, 3-16 against Utah’s defense. Ouch.
He’ll come around.

Well, an endorsement by Perk might mean it’s less likely we make the playoffs, since he is wrong so much.

I often wonder how Perk got his job? I know TNT tries to get players who are more personality than analysis like Chuck and Shaq, and maybe ESPN is trying to copy that model? But when I see him I feel uncomfortable, like he’s put there for people to laugh “at,” and not “with.”
