Hornets might flop and lose to the Rockets tonight. Of course.
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.

They are the epitome of Jekyll and Hyde. This month alone, wins over teams like Golden State and Washington (x2) with losses to Sacramento (by 30) and Houston.

Think it was a Ringer podcast where one of the guys said a scout told him he had the worst medicals ever. Too bad as he’s a talented player but not sure how much he’ll ever play.

Hmm Rockets are way better without Jalen Green I might be completely wrong about him.

Make sure you read that last line a couple more times. This is why it wouldn't make sense to bring him here (to play a 3-big lineup).

I got that, but you really don’t see the difference between their starting 4 (beside Wood,) and ours? KAT, Ant, Dlo, and V8 with all that they bring couldn’t outperform the worst team in the league. What is interesting is the potential of Wood not just beside Towns, but as insurance if he gets hurt. Everyone saying trade for Simmons or Turner is missing the fact that we can get 2 legit bigs on December 15th both of whom are on the block and both of whom would make a major impact.

Random but can you imagine how amazing we would be if we had a prime AK47 on this squad, he was such a multi-tool of a player.

Isn’t he just a larger version of what we want Bolmaro to become?

I never thought Bolmaro could hit those heights but if he does, then that is a massive get. I think AK47 is one of the best players ever, not because he was elite at anything but he was just very high-level good at everything. Oddly enough, that's pretty much how Towns described Bolmaro the other day. I never put the two together but yea, that would be incredible if Bolmaro could become that. AK didn't hurt you anywhere, helped you everywhere.

That's a really interesting comp. I think positionally the Livingston one still works a little better, but I like that for a high end.

Siakam one of the worst contracts in the league he gets paid like a superstar and is just a competent starter. Doubtful he ever comes close to being an all star level player again.

I was at that game when I went through the States for my 21st. Pretty sure they were down by double digits heading into the 4th before winning.
Then I saw them play the Paul George Pacers in Minnesota when AK won the game with a last second pass to Budinger. Building went BERSERK.
He was seriously underappreciated. Him and Shawn Marion would have been consistent All NBA guys in the modern era.

Re: Around the League 2021-2022
The Bolmaro-Kirilenko comparison doesn’t hit at all, if I am being honest. What made Andrew Kirilenko so dynamic is that he was a 6’9” guy with a staggering 7’4” wingspan that had elite physical coordination, GOAT-level defensive instincts, and underrated/underutilized talent as a ball-handler and facilitator. He came too soon, he would be an absolute monster in this era, now that big man are allowed to be facilitators.
He was basically a better version of everything Jonathan Isaac might be, he’s a player I really miss watching.

Devin Booker won’t return with a hamstring injury…he might be out a few games or more. Nasty injury that could linger
