V8 is a guy who generates more points off rebounds and forcing turnovers than most 5th scoring option role players generate in points. Moreover, as he finds new ways to improve his cutting and rolling V8’s value is increasing, not decreasing. For the money V8 is a huge value, maybe even one of the most valuable contracts in the league. To replace all the rebounding, defense, extra possessions, and added pace that V8 brings is no easy task, and frankly Gupta would be smart not to try.

So in other words, who cares if the game has integrity so long as it’s rigged in your favor. Big market spends crazy money, gets national attention, makes back the money, and then continues to outspend the smaller markets that cannot compete. You clearly have no love or respect for the game.
